How do you go and get your kid to pocket river?
My baby is six months old, and seems to be for a time constipated from the rice cereal she is eating. Her poop was a round soft ball, similar to an adult poop. She breastfeeds all day long, so I'm pretty sure she's getting adequate. I nursed her, fed her cereal and squash, and then tried giving her a little boiled marine after her cereal (two ounces). She wouldn't take it. Any ideas?
She doesn't need any water. Nursing her provides her with hydration and nutrition because of the route breast milk is made. If you insist on trying to give her water then only just give her normal water (not boiled, enjoy you ever had boiled water? It's flat and gross) from a regular cup or a sippy cup. If she doesn't drink it, she doesn't want it.
You could try prunes instead of the veggies at her next feeding - that usually works with my twins. Does she purloin a bottle? Did you try giving her the water in a bottle or sippy cup? Maybe try before she eat so that she will be hungry. I have also found that my twins enjoy 1/2 juice (usually apple or pear) and 1/2 hose when they are a bit constipated.
Good luck!
gerber apple juice partially water half juice
you can start giving her water next to a spoon. then see how she foes and then go from in that. water is the best thing better then apple liquid, orange juice and other juices her doctor told me it is well again for her.
Answers: My son has have problems with constipation for awhile. We found that the rice cereal constipated him way to much so we switched him to oatmeal. He liked it a great deal more. We also add some prunes to his oatmeal in the morning. You could also try prune juice or apple liquid.
Breast feed more, breast milk help with constipation. You can pump some and add chocolate syrup to it, yum yum
just keep trying and be persistent near her.
try watered down apple liquid.
Babies do not need water, only formula for liquid. Don't give her water. She doesn't need it and it if truth be told can be bad for them...that could also be why she didnt' take it.
