Would you lose adjectives respect for someone if they told you this?
Alright, so my boyfriend's adoptive brother has a girlfriend. She's young (16) but obviously prehistoric enough to know right from wrong.
One day we somehow got into a conversation in the order of how she lost her virginity at 12. I asked her what she would have done if she had gotten pregnant. She told me (and the car full of people) that she wouldn't own an abortion as she doesn't believe in them, but that she would have drank or did drugs (like pills and "harder" drugs) until she had an intentional miscarriage.
Before she have said that I had liked her well ample, but now I can't look at her without disgust.
Would you feel duplicate way if someone had said that to you?
I can't even believe she said that out loud...what an idiot! Yes, I would loose total respect for someone that said that.
Yes I would. First of all the girl lost her virginity at twelve years old. That within itself would raise a lot of flags to me. And second, she's talking almost getting pregnant and then taking hard drugs that harm herself and the tot. My way of looking at someone would definitely devolution, but people are entitled to their own opinions and as long as they don't harm anybody (yet, let's hope she never get pregnant) I would just leave her be. Maybe not try to talk almost serious subjects with her.
I'd have been disgusted too. that not always adequate to induce a miscarriage but it's enough to really screw up a baby -- what if it didn't work and she have a baby with FAS and all sorts of other HORRIBLE things because of her? and how is doing that ANY better than abort? it's much worse, in my opinion! that's awful.
someone said that to me very well not real hard drugs but like drink a great deal when we were younger she actually found out she was pregnant.but after a week she changed and kept the newborn and hes gorgeous.shes just young and dumb id be digusted too if someone said that to me immediately...and what was she doing soing drugs at 12! i smoked my pot and stuff when i was 14 but not 12!! (i dont smoke at all anymore and i slightly cigs too)
if it were me, i would extension up hating her for the rest of my life if she said something like that to me. don't want to receive pregnant, don't have unprotected sex then. i had a miscarriage at 17 and would do anything to shift back in time and change that so that it never happen but instead of a miscarraige, i would get to have my baby.
my aunts friend got pregnant and jump off a chair on her stomahe to try and miscarry and the baby get something VERY bad wrong with him and was still contained by like 6-9 month clothes at 6 years old and he didnt live much longer, that is horrible i would pray for her
The answer differs from person to person, but I would say yes for two reason. One, she lost her virginity at 12, and two, she doesnt believe in abortions, but she would have an intentional miscarrigae, which doesnt make sense to me.
i think i would look at her differently...of course, we are all entitled to our own judgment. just try to distance yourself from her. that would help

As someone who has miscarried twice, and tried getting pregnant for years since having a successful full-term pregnancy, I would have told the girl how irresponsible, selfish, and stupid she is, and that I hope she NEVER get pregnant. She is obviously very immature, and have no business having children, or engaging in undertakings that might lead to having children.
sounds like shes really messed up. you should telll her how you feel and conceivably she will think about the way she think. dont be mean just tell her how you get the impression with out trying to make her feel impossible. i hate when people try to take my power

Second, I am 32, she is 16. I take that as a HUGE factor within what she says. I'm young enough to remember what one a flaky teenager was like, and out-of-date enough to know I'm not above reproach myself.
Everyone has verbal diarrhea from time to time. I significantly doubt a girl that was promiscuous at 12 truly has had ANY caring of understanding of her actions in the "adult" sense. She's manifestly had a very unsupervised upbringing. Sadly not all 16 y/os are grow and/or level headed...some are darn right scatter brained!
