A press around afterbirth?
i bled after i gave birth for a long as im sure most do, however a family member have recently given birth and has had no lochia, or bleeding after birth, none at adjectives... is this normal?? she had a vaginal birth so she should expect some bleeding shouldnt she? she lives in hong kong and things are different over in that, the midwife doesnt come to check womb contractions as they do here in uk, just wondering if this could have anything to do near it? any help would be greatly appreciated
that sounds massively unusual
from what ive been led to believe women bleed for 2 to 6 weeks
from the place the placenta was attached to the womb
are you really sure ?
I can't suppose why she wouldn't have lochia the placenta site would have to heal and you'd shed the uterine bin liner. You'd expect at least a couple of days of bleeding, I can't see anything that would change that -through in different places different length of lochia (rubra, serosa, and alba) are considered normal.
If you have an OB they don't check fundal height until 6 weeks within most cases, so that wouldn't have anything to do with it. I'm pretty disgusted that in the US and Canada (where I live) if you pass birth with an OB in a hospital no one bothers to check mom from the time she leaves the hospital (as little as hours after birth) until 6 weeks
Answers: that sounds highly suspect, although I don't mean to outrage...
Lochia sometimes lasts only a few days as bleeding, but it does always arise. The uterus and placenta deteach and leave a wound so to speak that needs to heal and that take some time...
here is a good link regarding the issue.

ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE PLACENTA COMING OUT STRAIGHT AFTER THE BIRTH OR FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS/DAYS AFTERWARDS?
NHS direct have a great website and you should seek advice on it. if the women is worried they should see a doctor!

I work near a young girl here in the states that doesnt have a extent, but has everything else, like the ovulation cycle, but no shedding. she was told by her dr when she be 12 (she is 17 now) that she would never bleed, even after having a child...it must have something to do with how their built within taht area, or maybe they have some sort of disease that doesnt allow them to bleed, close to endo.
Belly goo? are you serious? what people eat usually doesnt have an effect on the woman's reproductive cycle.
Because they devour differently over there.less belly goo
