How can you comfort a 9 week matured tot who have the hiccups stop?
they are really aggravating him but i don't know how to stop them. iv tried winding him what else can i do? is it ok to give him a sip of his cooled boiled water?
Sometimes feed them helps. I daughter had the hiccups ALL the time when she was born, and for the first few months. She is almost 4 months and still get them, but sometimes you just have to let them run their course.
Either you can offer him Breast/Bottle or try giving him a bit of Gripe Water if you have any. Not a lot, below the first breadth. It worked for my 16.5 month old when she used to get them as a newborn and my 2.5 month old presently, she gets them A LOT!
Hope that helps, and Congrats on your baby!
if hes been hiccuping for more than 24 hours see your gp. hiccuping is a sign of lack of oxygen to the brain. hope hes okay x
Give him a drink and place both hand in the back for a while or all the method to the top of the head. That helps the diaphragm to relax.
