How do you cope next to morning sickness when you hold a 14month infirm to effort for?
I recently found out that I'm expecting!! I might be close to 6 weeks and I haven't had doctor's appointment yet.
With my first babe, I had severe morning sickness for first 3-4 months. I hope it won't be the same with this one. I can hardly get up in the morning to give breakfast to Brianna very soon. I hate the smell of her food and hate feeding her. I hope things will convert quickly.
My question is, how do you cope with it? Is nearby a medicine? I have been sucking on those prego lollipops. They are helping for a time but not that much.
You can take Benadryl or Dramamine (for motion sickness).. according to my OB's organization, but both can make you drowsy(well they have a non drowsy Dramamine). Peppermints helped me a TON. That's what they used within the old days! Also, there is a certain vitamin, I can't remember which ones though, but they seem to help( just ask the pharmacist). It may be better for you to get some easy things for breakfast for a while, pop tart, waffles, things that don't really have a smell. Lay down as much as you can. For some reason flavoursome things worked for me, like potato chips in the morning( I know breakfast of champions, right)!
Congrats!
Try Zantac. I get maximum strength from Costco. Doesn't cure it completely, but definitely makes life a bit more bearable. Just one tablet ever 12 hours.
I'm not expecting #2 but, but hopefully soon! I had severe morning sickness too with my first - 24/7 non-stop throwing up. Zantac reduced it for sure. I plan on using Zantac when I get preggo again.
Oh my. I feel for you, I am actually on the same boat! I enjoy a 21 months old and a 5 months old and I am now 2 1/2 month pregnant..I hold severe not only morning sickness..but night day mid afternoon. I work full time too...it's tough! I a moment ago take it day by day..I am originally from italy and my mother sent me this italian tablets for pregnant woman it's called BIOCHETASI from Sigma tau (the company)..it does help a bit. Otherwise when I get nausea I merely threw up..and pray..take it hour by hour..and know in myself that is in recent times for a bit longer...I can't stand the odor of my babies food or their poop..my husband changes them when they poop..what helps also is ginger ale, seltzer water beside lemon..and some crackers or dry food..but don't help a whole lot..In certain happening I even vomit (it's gross in front of my children..it's so bad)..but in my head I thank GOD for the pregnancy and know that every daylight that goes by I am one day closer to no more nausea. I will say some prayers for you.
u just have to do it
I hold 3, and am sick from start to finish. When I started losing weight in my first pregnancy, my doctor put me on Diclectin. It is an anti-nausea medication for pregnant women taken by pill. One in the morning, and one at hours of darkness. It is expensive (about 90/month), but it changed my life! I had it for the last two pregnancies as okay. Good luck!
Awwwwww! You poor entry!!
I couldn't imagine going through it with my son! Ahhhh! lol
I was sick beside Brayden 13 weeks- 19 weeks. Ugh- it was awful!
Nothing helped me. I sucked on the prego candy too and it helped but you enjoy to keep eating them back to rear lol. I don't think there is anything you can do about it. No meds. You merely gotta bare with it and hope it doesn't last long!
But hey you are pregnant! woohoo! Look on the bright side :) lol
ETA: I other took my prenatals when I was going to bed. They were on my end table by my bed! So I wouldnt draw from sick :)
Answers: What made me the sickest with all three of my pregnancies was the prenatal vitamin, I win sick just thinking about it, I had to cut it contained by half and take it at night right formerly I went to bed. When do you take your vitamin?
Edit: haha I know, with my concluding baby, I would put them in my mouth and start to gag I just could help yourself to them until a little later on, I hope you feel better, guzzle alot of crackers and I also ate ice alot that helped with the nasuea.
