When do you bequeath your babe-in-arms meat for the first time?
My baby is 8 months. She just got her first tooth. She does the chewing motion and she can pick stuff up near her fingers (finger and thumb) I've just been giving her either bought toddler food veggies and fruits or blending them myself. Is she ready for the next step? She just started crawling. What foods do I offer her? I've given her mashed potatoes but that is it off of our plates. I hear blended up checken breast is what you start with but at what age or stage?
I gave my daughter meat when she was 8 months antiquated. She had no teeth but she chewed with her gums almost anything. I gave her ground beef though, not a steak. Chicken she ate back, since the meat is softer.
You can start pureed meat at any time. It used to be recommended to hang about until 8-9 months to start meat, but current trends suggest that it can be started (along with all basic solids) at around 6 months -- it isn't complicated to digest, and is a good source of iron and zinc and protein.
For finger foods ... small bits of chicken or ground meat should be fine if she can pick them up and eat them.
My son is 9 months ancient and has 6 teeth, but two more are coming in right now. He loves to drink meat! He's had it since about 8 months. He loves ham (not lunchmeat). I make sure it's tender and surrounded by small enough pieces to eat. Try blending up some for your daughter, or cutting outstandingly tender pieces very small.
blend it up and give it to her. If she is not ready, she will spit it out and prohibit to eat it. If she likes it then you are well brought-up to go. Some baby food nowadays hold meat in them, so I would say that it is safe to nurture it to your child. Just watch her carefully the first time she eats meat.
Answers: you can give her just something like any table food -vegetable or meat - you like now.
Chicken is the easiest to add to a mash meal but beef/pork/lamb minced meat is great too when she is just starting.
Casseroles that are slow cooked with diced beef or lamb and lots of vegies will in recent times crumble so if you cut the pieces nice and small, when you mash all the meat and vegetables together the meat will just be blended into it.
She shouldn't call for any purees anymore, mashed is fine with small chunks that smoosh up easily when she puts it surrounded by her mouth.
Try making a sheppards pie with minced beef and gravy mix, mixed steamed vegetables added into the meat and mashed potato on top.eat that for dinner next to hubby and then mash up and freeze the leftover portions for her!
I other mixed lots of different things together to make tasty interesting meals for my kids. They bring back bits of everything that way, even zuchinni, cabbage, brocolli, brussels sprouts, squash.you name it my 12mth old son eat it!
I find that mashed potato, pumpkin or sweet potato mixed into any meals makes the mash easier
Oh, and a great finger food to keep her occupied and develop her fine motor skills is frozen peas! My kids LOVE them and my 12 mth old will sit within his highchair for half an hour picking peas off his tray and eating them, he especially like it when he is cutting a tooth as they are lovely and cold! And its healthy!

If I were you, I would just start feed her real food instead of dealing with baby food.
My 8 month mature eats about everything we eat.
Chicken would be foolproof. My son eats cut up fruits and veggies, toast, etc. It's so much easier than spoon-feeding. :)
I've been giving my daughter table food (fruits, veggie, meat single chicken) for months. She is now 8 months old and has no teeth. She have learned to chew without teeth. You just hold to make sure that when you start everything you give her is in small pieces and should be tremendously soft. Almost to the point when you press on it it will mush. Have fun and good luck.
i think she was like 3 days frail before i let her knaw on a steak
