Question just about tot pulling to standing?

My son is 7.5 months ... over the last week he's had an explosion in movement that have taken me by surprise ...

He started crawling and over the past few days now pulls up on everything he can find ... his safety gate, larger toys, the couch etc... Inevitably, however ... he falls. Good thing he's not too far from the ground when he stands.

This is my first and I just wonder how often did your little one crash down? Did they seem to notice/get upset? My son seems to be more surprised by losing his footing than anything else...
Totally normal!! They fall, and fall, and decline. My little on is 27 months and can walk, jump & run, but he still falls when he's going to fast. Then he get up and laughs (aside from the occasional boo-boo)

You are in for such a fun ride! Take lots of videos and pictures!
Like you said, they are not far from the ground plus the extra padding from the diaper they are totally fine. You can expect him to fall lots of times. He won't be steady satisfactory to hold his balance for a while. It just takes lots of practice. For my son, I purely kept the area around the table and couch (anything he used to pull himself up) free from toys, shoes or anything else that he could hurt himself on when he fell. My son pulled himself up for a good 3 months in the past before he was a pro, then he kept falling effect he was trying to walk! It never seems to finish! But your son will be fine!
My little one fell all the time and still does. It doesn't bother her one bit! It's part of research and growing!
My son maybe would cry the first afternoon but then soon got over it and didn't care. Even presently, months after learning to walk when he falls he just stands rear up and keeps going
Answers:    My oldest son was pulling himself up up to that time he could crawl or sit up on his own. My daughter pulled herself up early too. My youngest son pulled himself up at 5 months old (3 yrs old now) and he still falls and depending on how or where on earth he fell he will laugh. He really laughs when he tries to trip you when you are walking or when my daughter tries to trip him when he is walking.
my son does the same now...he actually keep trying he dosent get mad...when he falls he looks at me and laughs...lol
