Periods after your tot?
My son is almost 9 months old, and is still breastfeed every 4-5 hrs and sleeps for 10 hrs, also eating 3 meals a year. I got my period back finally ultimate month (the 15th to be exact), and was expecting it like 2 days ago.. I've always have pretty normal periods that come every 28 days or so.. but nothing so far.. I'm confused and wondering if your period get all messed up after a baby? Or if I can expect for them to dance back to normal at some time?? It confuses me because instead of looking for a missed period as a sign of pregnancy, I don't want to preserve using tests and they be negative (me and my husband aren't trying-- but not "not trying" ha) .. any help on how to determine pregnancy or when my period will go back to normal would be great gratitude
Answers: If I were you I would just look for other pregnancy signs if you think you might be pregnant such as breast pain, etc. (google pregnancy symptoms). Yes a missed period is usually the tell tale sign but within are other pregnancy symptoms as well.
I got pregnant when I was not "not trying" any lol...I had previously been on the pill and was with the sole purpose off it for about 2 months and even thinking about getting hindmost on it when I got pregnant with my son. If you really don't want another baby I would label sure you are on a good method of birth control such as the pill and that you take it properly.
I think your period can be irregular for awhile after you deliver but I'm not sure... if your period is only 2 days late though I would keep on another week and then take a pregnancy test if you don't get hold of it. And just in case you didn't already know, you can procure pregnant while breastfeeding. Source(s): Mom to a 15 month old boy
I sure hope you're using good birth control if you're not actively planning to get pregnant right away!
I ruminate it takes a little while for your periods to become regular again. I be always very irregular so I didn't notice any difference myself.
