Need suggestion on a 2 month out-of-date child?

Don't force him to sleep because you want him to, he will sleep when he wants.
I would hate to hold you watch my kids if you need to go on YA to ask something close to this.
I agree dont force babe to sleep all babies are different and have different schedules solely give him more formula if he is still hungry...if baby wants to be awake play next to him he his probaly thriving to learn..goodluck
Maybe put the child somewhere hush to sleep, all the excitement and stuff going on around him may be too much. Also, you can try to put him near a sound electrical device. I'm such a advocate for this because it helps my daughter sleep better. Sound machine, typically one that plays white crash, helps drown out noise that may distract the child from sleep, and will also help bridge the gap when the awake after 30 mins. It may help him to fall back alseep on his own after he wake from a 10-30 min nap. Also you can try swaddling and let baby sleep on tummy if mom say OK. I wouldn't force baby to drink more formula unless the child is showin signs he is still hungry.
I think you should talk to his mom cuz if it were my child I wouldn't want my afternoon care provider on Yahoo Answers asking questions pertaining to my child. Source(s): Mother of a 2 month old
Remember he's only 2 months old. Babies kind of pick their own programme until they get adjusted...give it time.
