Little tummys laxative for a 2 month ancient?
My son is 2 month and he doesn't poo everyday. I have been giving him prone juice but it doent come across to help can I give him little tummys laxative and how much?
The directions are on the little tummy's laxative. Its a dropper. It is messy, its the color of senna (black). It does work effectively next to no cramping. And I have used it for my sons since birth. We eventually had to get a prescription laxative, lactulose, which my youngest used till he turned 2.
You're right to worry - she should do at least once a day, as at any age.
But I wouldn't provide Little Tummies - it contains senna, a stimulant-irritant laxative that can cause stomach cramps and dependency if used often.
She's old plenty for small doses of watered down pear or prune juice (1 oz or less) - that may help. Other than that - baby-size glycerine suppositories. They're the safest chemical crutch you can use to make sure she's doing a dooey everyday.
It's not really how much he goes, but the consistency. As long as it's not more firm than peanut butter, then he's perfectly fine.
never supply him a laxative.. he will get dehydrated..
they have kid enemas. Ask your doctor!
Answers: It might be time for a formula change...hail as your doctor
