Is breast milk fatty? It seem to go away an grease bottom contained by the bottle?
It has fat in it .. of late like any other milk. (And, because it isn't homogenized, the fat separates out if it sits.)

that's probably the 'fatty' hind milk separating from the other milk. Remember bm is not pasteurized so it separates if it sits for a little while. Breast milk comes out as fore milk, regular milk and hind milk which is the fatty stuff toward the end. That's probably what you're seeing.
I don't know that it is oily. But my milk did the same article in the bottle. Just invest in a good bottle brush, and some accurate soap! It washes right out.
There is a lot of obese in breast milk. When I pump and leave it in the fridge, it completely seperates. It's really chance...I swear I could make butter from it.
Milk has butterfat surrounded by it. Little globules of oily fat.
If you took fresh cow's milk directly from her udder it too would seem slimy.
I wouldn't say "oily" I have notice kind of a fatty substance that coats the cup. Maybe that is what it is? I'm not sure.
I don't think so. When I used to percolate it wouldn't leave oil stains on my shirts. maybe it's approaching that with plastic or something...
