My Daughter is a Little bit Worried... For Past Parents who have kids That Were surrounded by the Seventh Grade?
My daughter will be in the seventh grade this coming Autumn. She is really nervous and worried. She even have been complaining of stomach pain because she is stressed out. And school is with the sole purpose about a month away! Does anyone have any tips on how you readied your child going into seventh level? Thanks so much!
My Daughter is 17 very soon and we went thru this already. She was nervous going on for going to a new school and all that. I shared my experience as resourcefully as others that were more her age and she was still stressing. One day i asked her to find in the car and I took her to a Mall that she had never be too and she knew nobody in the area. I give her some money and told her to go buy a top or some jeans. She did not know where her fav stores were or what the shopping precinct even had. She was a bit nervous but go in and soon came out with a double act of jeans and was all excited about this exotic mall because it had places she liked. On the style home I explained that her new school would be the same, solely she would have friends going with her. I assume this is the case beside yours and might work. Funny thing is that my daughter just told that story last weekend. She smiled at me and thank me for it. Try it and see?
What exactly is she worried about? Are near bullies spreading rumors about her or picking on her or something? Is she going to a new school? Is she worried around academics? Ask her what she's worried about specifically.
Seventh grade wasn't really any different than 6th category for me. It isn't too horrible or scary or anything. It's one of the best grades because you're not the youngest and new and everything and you're not the oldest and the teachers don't put as much pressure on you to be a role model for the younger grades.
yes ably when i was i seventh and my kid also it was very boldness recking because maybe she might be going to a new school or perchance she is nervous because of the kids that dont like her or she is just doesnt want to turn to that school no more or she could be nervous because of thoughts she is having hope this help
We love them so much and hate to see them suffer. I've been through it with my son, better on the other hand, I also have worked at the middle school level( I now work at soaring school) in special education. Let her read this----
EVERYONE feels nervy on their first day to ANYTHING. It's just part of vivacity. A first day for anything is nerve racking - we all hold to go through this- even adults (I'm personally nervous myself- I too verbs will the kids like or dislike me?) What if my co-workers don't like me? See, you will not be alone on the first day when it comes to mortal nervous- because everyone else will be nervous, too, just like you! A few more things to ruminate about...In middle school (unlike elem entry) you have more freedoms and wont be treated similar to a baby. They give you more choices, like, of things to guzzle ( they have snack bars or vending machines and you'll have greatly more to choose from). There's football games, dances, cuter boys and all kinds of stuff to look forward to (unlike elem entry school). I also bet you'll find investigational pal's to hang with (that are just as strung-up as you are)- especially because of having to going to multiple classes. Just think, if have 6-8 classes, conceivably 30 kids in each class, they'll be at least SOMEONE that will chum near you! Ya, I admit the first day will be scary, but I guarantee you that on second daylight you'll want to kick yourself for worrying so much about it! Hope that helps. God Bless.

I remember starting 7th grade... The university was bigger, there were more teacher, more classrooms, even more kids. The first day is hard on every kid, I remember being so alarmed...
My Mom made me a special lunch and tucked notes EVERYWHERE on my person and in my backpack... Little notes that said things like "take your time, its investigational to everyone", "smile sweetie, today's a good day" and my personal favorite "you are wearing clean undies, it's all pious!"
I found them in my jean pockets, my coat pockets, my lunch bag, my binders, my notebooks... I have to admit, Mom was slick. But they made me smile, laugh and loosen up a bit. I be a bit embarrassed, but it gave me something to laugh something like with my friends and helped me understand that no situation how my day went, Mom would be at home waiting for my first day report and my after institution snack.
She had given me a special note book, kind of a first morning journal, that I had taken to school every first morning since I could write. I looked back at how scared I was consequently and how the school year got so much better after day two. Its never too unpunctually to start a first day journal, writing down how you feel through out the hours of daylight helps let got of some of the nerves.
All within all, my 7th grade year rocked, no matter what the first year was like... Just keep the comunication lines unequivocal, reasure her it'll all be ok and slip her a surprise or two to help her relax. The mall opinion was brilliant too, I'd try it!
Hope I helped! Source(s): Personal Experience
