pop music is probable to be hit & miss as most kids that age are listening to what their parents or older sibs choose to play.

Such a big age range. My 7 year old only just outgrew Disney Princesses and Barbies. She still likes them, but she is embarrassed to admit it.
Littlest Petshop pets, Hannah Montana, guitars, Nintendo DS w/ pet games, mp3 player. ... I deliberate pretty much what ever the tv and their friends tell them they need!
Umm capably try doing things that you thought were fun when you were that age. I have to disagree next to people bringing up tv and movies. Stay away from that **** and go outside with the kids or do activites that stimulate their brains.

When I was 5 - 8 years old I liked drawing and playing dress up.. I dreamed of human being a fashion designer (that career option have flown out the window, now that I know I can't draw :D)
My daughter loves High School Musical, Avatar, Hannah Montana, Spongebob. She loves just more or less any board game geared towards her age group. She still loves to color and draw. She plays school almost daily beside her little sister (she is of course the teacher). My daughter was into doing puzzles and playing with her Nintendo DS and Game boy. She was also into watching I Carly, Spongebob, and be just then starting to het into scrapbooking. Hope this helps.
Answers: one of my sisters is 8 years old and she really likes adjectives the disney channel music: demi lovato, miley cyrus, jonas brothers, we play a lot of ghetto soccer in our backyard and she seem to like it, she likes webkinz and stuffed animals in common, i have 8 brothers and sisters and us older ones recently skilled our younger siblings (7, 8, & 10) how to play poker and texas hold em' and they LOVE it they beg us to play it with them everyday now, she like board games like monopoly and clue, video games like mario smash bros brawl, mario kart, mario party the wii fit (these games are purely good in our house because theres a lot of society and everyone enjoys them really) she loves to play on her d.s lite she plays games like the puppy one, the imagine little one sitter, the imagine teacher, and the imagine whim designer, basically most of the shows on disney and nicelodeon: spongebob, hannah montana, suite life of zack and cody, icarly, phineus and pherb, ect, since me and my older siblings grew up more contained by the 90's we try to encourage them to get into some of the older movies and shows similar to ducktales, darkwing duck, the animaniacs, recess, the disney classics and she loves it and she likes playing dress up and doing karaoke and playing outside with bubbles and sidewalk chalk, sculpture, and shes always been into cutting up weekly and making weird arts and crafts..and yea i hope that any of this helped you :)
