What would you do for your kids birthday?
I have invited 32 kids to my sons birthday which is in the summer holidays but as yet hold recieved only 7 replys in total. From experience how many population would you cater for given so few reply's? do people just turn up or do they hand contained by the slip if theyare comming. I know this question is probably silly but I have never thrown a party for the kids earlier and am worried that if i only cater for a few I may not have enough food or knees-up bags to go round.
Would love to hear everyones oppinion on this.

what i do is if they don't call a few days before the party, i nickname them and ask if they are coming because some people aren't the RSVP type.
Answers: Well I just have my daughters 5th party and we invided 23 kids...I recieved about 4 replies in the first week after issuing the invites and next in the following two weeks before the party, going on for 8 people told me they were coming whenthey saw me at school.so that be half of who I invited..on the day I had 20 citizens turn up...3 could not come...in my experience people are very good-for-nothing about responding to invitations.some forget...some think "Oh I'll wait till its almost time to stir before I decide in baggage something better comes along" If I were you I would cater for about 25...but generously.enjoy enough bags just incase as it would be awful to leave your job kids out.I did...it annoyed me so much that I had to do this.also I had to estimate how many kids be coming to the venue and then they charged me even for the 3 who did not come! So rude of people not to answer. Dont worry...you will hold a good time and byt the sound of it at least partly you invited will show up.
What i would do is maybe ring a few of the parents to see because dont forget the children might want to come but some parents are either too busy or too languorous to send slips back.
I would just acquire a large bowls of salad, chips and pizzas and crisps and cupcakes and things so you can put enough out for say 15 kids at first and if more turn up you freshly put more cakes out, more crisps out, more salad and just quickly bung some more pizzas and chips on - solely gona take like 15 mins for pizza 25 for chips and you are sorted, anything that doesnt get open or used can be put in cupboards and the freezer for you to eat in the coming weeks for dinner. Dont bother beside party bags until you have a confirmed number - or I don`t know do like pic and mix and mini sweets so again if you have anything left over it is not frivolous or too expensive instead of say going out and buying 32 yoyos and only giving out 20
