How much sleep and when should a 11 year mature walk to sleep?
She takes about 30mins to go asleep, Shes be going to sleep at 1:00AM and getting up at 9:00AM but I've been seeing how shes been very tired during the hours of daylight..So how much and when,
Thanks ^_^
the old farmers almanac for kids states that kids 10-12 should sleep 10 hours at least.
Probably 10 hours or so. If she's sleepy during the daytime, she's not getting enough sleep.
A lot earlier, because when school starts again she's going to hold to get up much earlier. Try setting back her bedtime an hour a week for the subsequent three or four weeks and see how she does.
Answers: An 11 year old needs 8+ hours of sleep, medically speaking. That being said, evey child is different.
Regarding it taking 30 minutes to plunge asleep, but going to sleep at 1 am means she is going to bed at 12;30 am.too late for a 11 year old.
Even next to sleeping until 9am, that is 8 hours of sleep, but that will not work when the summer is over.
Does she intake a lot of caffeine in the evening? Chocolate counts too. Source(s): www.theparentingnetwork.org/pdf/Good sunshine.pdf
