Chicken nugget for academy lunchbox?
This will be my first time packing lunches for school and the school menu is not the best. I'm trying to think of as several ideas as possible that I serve at home that will taste good crammed full. Is it a good idea to pack chicken nuggets contained by a school lunch? I would cook them in the morning and pack it with a cool pack. DS said he wouldn't mind drinking them room temp but I don't know if that would taste good. Any other BTDT lunch ideas?

Bologna and cheese
turkey and cheese on flat bread
... and then I run out of ideas!!

You could also warm a thermos,and hang on to things hot that way. I wouldn't want to eat them room temp,but that's just me.
And you can truly kind anything he would eat while at home,even taking leftovers that he really likes the subsequent day.

Chicken & Dumplings
Spaghetti and meatballs
Turkey and Veggie Wraps with ranch dressing

Answers: I send chicken nugget to school with my son in a Thermos that keep them warm. They always come back eat and he keeps asking for them again and again - so I guess it works. Good Luck

Then you could do chicken nuggets, spaghetti, soup in a thermos.
Then you can put resembling yogurts, chips, pretzels in there, too.
It doesn't seem close to much, but its fine.
On top of sandwiches I own sent Chicken noodle soup, Raviolis, Spaghettio's, Mac and cheese and the like in a thermos. I hold also cooked the mini Pizza bites that morning and wrapped them in aluminum foil. They always come home eaten. And hold been asked for again and again.
Lunchables makes a chicken nugget one. So cold or room temp chicken nuggets should be fine if that's what he/she wishes.
be sure to add some fruit and/or veggies to the lunch. and maybe a treat.
I have crammed Chicken noodle soup in a thermos and added an apple and half a sandwich and a granola railing. Had them buy milk at school.
God. Relax it's just lunch. Kids will eat anything.

Have you ever seen these things called "Lunchables"? They're really cool! They have tacos, pizzas, EVERYTHING! And I reckon maybe cold chicken breast would taste better then nugets. Here are some other planning I came up with on my own:
*Turkey Wraps
*Salads
*Cold pizza (leftovers from a frozen pizza or order out. It's apposite.)
*Nachos and cheese/salsa/other dips in a plastic container
Some good snackies are:
*Asorted vegggies and dippy sauce
*Fruit gummies
*Fruits
*Crackers
*Chips
*Anything else they normally resembling to snack on can probably be put into a container!
Remember, to out a sweet note in there, my mom did that for me when I be in elementary school.
Also, try things like cold chicken nugets beforehand school starts so your child doesn't find he/she doesn't like them at school lunch time. Serve a few university lunches in plastic containers as they would look in a lunch to help you child have a feeling comfortable.
Another tip is if the school has an ice-cream/ snack counter send them beside money on Fridays or another special day so they have something to look forward to.

Your concept need a little overhauling- especially if the reason you are packing lunches is to bestow something healthier than the school lunches. Make sure you include fruits and veggies with respectively lunch (apple, banana, mango chunks, applesauce, veggie sticks, grapes, etc). I would give them the change for milk at lunch because that is fine for growing children and you will know for sure it's been kept cold enough. As for a main course: you can do something resembling a rotisserie chicken on Sunday night and have a few days' worth of meals: duo with half a baked potato, rice and sweet and sour sauce or noodles. Buy mini flat bread or mini pizza crusts and pack a small packet of red sauce, mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni for them to put together... you could do similar with taco fixings or nachos. If the kids hold access to a microwave you could do a thermos of soup. Triscuits and bean dip can even be a healthy meal when you put in some veggies, a fruit and milk.
My mom used to put heated soup in a thermos for me. If they don't mind chicken nuggets at room temp, try totinos pizza rolls.
I would kind a special trip to the store with that need in mind and see what u can come up near.
