My 6yr elderly won't stop intake!?
My 6yr old son is driving me mad, he will not stop eating! Now I know kids necessitate fuel the same as adults do, but he'l eat his breakfast an hour later hes hungry, and this go on every house all day, it doesn't matter what he have he's still hungry an hour or so later!!
I limit the 'junk' he has, so he doesnt compress up on so called empty calories, he eats alot of fruit and have veg with his meals etc
He's not overweight, hes 128cm (i think we measured him the other hours of daylight but i cant remember the exact measurement) and just under 4 stone. He;s 7 in october
Why would he be doing this? it's only just been the last few days. I dont know whether to stop allowing him all these little bits of food, or of late to let him eat when he wants to.
Could it be a growth spurt does this take place?

I truly understand what your going through and although it sounds funny it is very backbone racking that there always and I mean every hour of the time that their hungry..I usually let them eat whatever they want because I cant maintain up with them when it comes to cooking, now dont get me wrong in attendance not eating ding dong and hohos all day, I do maintain lots of of fruits, and yougurt in the house for them , because there always ingestion between meals.My brother-in who is doctor always says they cannot never guzzle 2 much, neither one of my boys is over weight, i guess they need that food as gas because they do use so much energy..

My extreme guess is that he could be bored.
Schools out, there's nothing to do, he's not running around, his usual routine's outta the window, he's plain bored...so eating's a distraction.
If you can, I'd run him off his foot this holiday!
At least that way you can justify the amount of food he eat :)
If You can't run him off his feet, how about enrol him into a holday club where Others can do that for you?!
I suggest you any consult your doctor or maybe the practice nurse about this as it does not seem commonplace.
I know older people tend to use food as an emotional prop but a child that babyish should have no reason for this sort of compulsive eating. nearby is a small chance he may have some sort of underlying health problem and it is better to be not dangerous than sorry.
Kids food needs very from day to sunshine dependent on activity levels, growth e.t.c.
It is more important as to the type of food but it sounds resembling you are very aware of that.
I have 3 kids aged 2,6 and 7 and they kind of "graze" through the afternoon some days.
Other days they have 3 main meals and zilch else.
I don't worry about how much they eat as long as their counterbalance is ok and they only get 1-2 "bad" things a day.
IMO it's not how much you eat, but what you drink, that matters. If he's eating mostly healthy things resembling fruit and veg, I wouldn't worry too much, unless this is a very sudden change, contained by which case I might wonder why he's suddenly wanting to eat more.

I think that he is bored, permit him hangout with his friends more and take trips to the zoo or park.
He is still growing. I am an adult and I devour every 2 to 3 hours. So long as the food he is eating is healthy I see no problem in letting him drink. Most children will not over eat so long as adults don't limit or force them to more than what they want.

Is the answer is yes, later it would be normal for him to feel hungry.
Remember that it is NOT HOW MUCH he eats, BUT WHAT he eat. So if he's feeling hungry an hour or two after just having a breakfast time, give him an apple or an orange.
Try spreading his meals throughout the afternoon.
Have him eat six times a day:
- Breakfast
- Snack
- Lunch
- Snack
- Dinner
Make sure to make that a decent, balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner.
As for the snacks, try cutting up some carrots and cucumbers next to only a little bit of lemon and salt to brand it yummier. Maybe some fruit mixed together, such as pears and apples?
I like mixing cucumbers, watermelon and pineapple. I love it and so does my little sister... maybe your son will too!
Make sure you have a huge variety of fruits and vegetables at your disposal so that when your son wants a snack, you can give him something different respectively time and he won't grow tired of it.

You must be careful consult your doctor, my cousin always ate when she be little, she now doesn't know when shes full and shes close to a size 22.
At least his active and drinking healthily, it could just be a growth spurt i know when i was around 8 i couldn't stop eating at one stage (and i have gone from not eating at all practically), every few months i would grow up to 3 inches in one dark.
Sounds resembling a growth spurt to me if it's just been in the ending few days. My 5 yr old is like that, but she's always approaching that. She's very thin and very lively so she burns up what she eats really fast. My other 3 kids get 3 meal and 2 snacks a day and they're fine. She gets the same article, but she's always asking for food every hour. Maybe allow him bigger snacks at his snack times and add a little more to his meal. Make sure he's getting enough to drink, too because that helps.
