How do you seize a 8 year matured girl to tumble asleep?
I'm babysitting and she says she's tired but can't fall asleep bedtime was at 9:30..and she's still awake...

Hmmm..i don't know. From experience I have two nieces and the younger one usually falls right asleep after you play with her and she runs around so much. Yeah after that she knock out.
*You could put on her favorite movie and turn the lights off [get in the tired mood]
* Maybe turn the fan on or some music so it is cool and mellow.
*get her stomache full haha [not on cookies though i don't believe the parent would like that]
*read her a book? [that doesn't work for me though]
but, those are just some suggestions that I can think of stale the top of my head. good luck :)

Answers: Tell her that even if she can't sleep her body still needs the rest so she should recline down in bed. My mom did this all the time and we always fell asleep anyway inwardly a half hour. Don't let her keep getting out of bed. Tell her to variety up a story to tell herself, sing a song to herself, or think about what concerned of fun things she wants to do tomorrow. That will busy her mind enough to take her thoughts sour sleeping and eventually she will get tired. She could also maybe read some books quietly next to a small light on while in bed. Whatever you do just try to hold on to her in her bed and at least if she doesn't go to sleep she is in fact in the bed when her parents come home. Source(s): Mom of 2
Knock her out near a baseball bat or frying pan.
I baby sit my little brother adjectives the time & I find that the best thing to do is run around during the day.
We take walks&&play baseball&&play surrounded by the creek by our house&&look in the woods for pretty leaves, we even made a scrap book to put them in.
