How do i carry my 2 yr out-of-date to stop sucking her thumb?
Put hot sauce or pepper on her thumb - then make her suck on it.
I always thought putting things like hot sauce on the thumb with the sole purpose made it worse. I babysat a 2 yr. old whose parents were also trying to stop the thumb sucking. (They were domestic friends I was always around him) They tried hot sauce but it just made him hair it. He would only do it when they were not looking. They used the "Thumb Guard" from One Step Ahead. It worked great. (They also make one for fingers) Hope this help. :) Source(s): http://www.onestepahead.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=5894&cmSource=Search
Answers: My daughters would always stop sucking their thumb when I told them to, but at night they would ALWAYS suck their thumb, even in their sleep. I put band-aids on it. No one wishes a band-aid in their mouth, right? Well, it took a while (month or so) but it worked!
Best of luck!
at petsmart or petco you can get some stuff call "Bitter Yuck" its completly safe wot stain any thing but tastes awful. so that will most likly oblige
Tell the two year old it can't be a big boy/girl and suck their thumb.
I always got really touchy when somebody told me 'stop it.'
So don't try that.
That's all I can say.

spank them hips & say "no no" every time when he/she put it in their mouth..if he/she do it again then present he/she a pacifier---lol
put something that taste nasty on her fingers like vinegar, hot sauce, or anything else but bring in sure that it's not toxic and will not hurt her.
