Would you hire a 12 year outdated to babysit?
I am 12 and I just got trained with the red cross babysitting course.
I am unseal to tips.I am responsible, trustworthy, and loyal. I have a younger sister and many other cousins whom I babysit.
Would you hire me?
Thanks
hell no!
I would hire you to keep my children busy while I had house guests. I repeatedly have to get up in the middle of a friendly stop by with friends because my kids are getting rowdy. I think it would be ideal to start near the parents in the house, and when you reach a certain skill stratum or a certain age,you can be alone. My kids are school aged, ( 8, 9). They only require "light" supervision when I`m busy beside friends. Source(s): I think starting this way is best. I started this way, eventually I become a nanny for a family.
Nope, and i doubt anyone else would either, sorry.
If you had experience and got certified contained by the baby-sitting coarse, and maybe I could stay for a while and make sure you knew what you be doing ...and you were watching someone a bit older [not an infent] than yes! Maybe if people are a bit worried just about you being younger, you could "double-team" it, like have someone minister to baby-sitt w/ you. And split the money, like a [older friend] or relative!

and only just FYI-I am not sure where you live but, you are not allowed to baby-sitt [unless it is someone you are related to] until you are 13yrs. old- contained by Massachusetts!
And the book by American girl for baby-sitting is really good, and has a bunch of stuff you will need, as ably as business cards! You can get it at Barnes and Noble or on the website! [Americangirl.com]
Hope this helped, -McCartney (: Source(s): my brain and google
for kids like 6-9 maybe for close to an hour. you are still to young. try again at 16
I have my son who is 12 watching his little sister from time to time. Recently he has asked me if I thought he be capable of watching some of my girlfriends kids! Yes I would, but I would lay down ground rules first. No cell phone for them, or computer unless you are allowing your child to play a fun harmless game on it. I would travel over and over safety measures, emergency situations, proper #'s and absolutely do not allow them to have a friend come over while they are sitting. I started babysitting at 10 and be very good at it.
Good luck!
12 year olds are empire to! :D
Honestly, I wouldn't have a child babysitting my own child. I understand that you are qualified and very very well trained, but I wouldn't hire a babysitter in the first place. I'm just not comfortable with them.
im twelve i just got trained in the course and ive already have 2 jobs and also 3 more soon
probally not, I started when i was 13.
Im almost 15 and I usually babysit alot.
i would let you babysit my kids. But i would obligation a little more info. on you first. No one will hire you if you just say that you are trustworthy and loyal. You hold to be more appealing than that.Because you have finished taking the american red cross course and seem nice and caring, in a minute you should think about taking a cpr class or something similar to that because the more certificates you hold, the more parents are going to want to hire you.
hope this helped!!
Absolutely not
I'm sorry
no. sorry. you dont feel similar to your that young yourself, but in a few years youll realize how young you are when your 12. your still a infant.
Aren't twelve year olds suppose to be baby sat?
i agree you are too childlike to babysit
If they are not horny molesters.
Are you kid?
A 12yr old NEEDS a babysitter
you sound mature but i would own to meet you first but probably not i reckon you have to be at least 13 or 14
You probably would be better off simply babysitting for people you know like your parents friends, co-workers people that already trust you. Being a parent myself i wouldn't consistency comfortable with a 12 year old babysitting my child unless i knew them pretty capably.
No i wont there to young for children so sorry!! MORE OLDER!! SORRY!

no far too young to be a babysitter.
Answers: I have have babysitters to watch my children varying from ages 12 - 19. As long as they are experienced, well behaved, worthy with kids and I know them, I trust them.
Some tips:
- You should check with the parents any special rules, as the family may own certain customs of which the sitter is unaware. Other things you should ask about are bed-time, food allergies, punishments, etc.
- For lunch, provide young children cut up things. You never want to give them anything too big, for the fear of choking.
- If you are to permit young children play with toys, make sure you sit nearby and watch them. There is a very large prospect of them swallowing small toys and choking.
- Make sure you have the parent's phone number. You should always have the phone number of a doctor, as ably. Emergencies can happen.
- Stay calm in an emergency. Children will nouns if you do. It may be a wise idea to review safety tips next to children at the beginning of a job. That will prepare them for any emergency situations, in the unlikely event that they come to pass. Also, you should know where a first aid kid is located.
- Lock the house if you leave. Locking a house prevents burglaries. Always make sure you hold a key to get back surrounded by, however, or you may have to make very honourable friends with the neighbors. If there is a pool, make sure that it is hermetically sealed over.
- Finally, make sure it is a job you can handle! Nothing is worse than calling the parent and proverb that you can't do it anymore. I've experienced this with babysitters. I actually had to come home from a group because the baby sitter said that she couldn't do it anymore.

I would use you as a "Mother's Helper" first, it's similar to babysitting, only I would be home the whole time while you kept the kids entertain so I could get some work done/relax. If that went well a few times, next I may consider letting you watch them for 1-3 hours, during daylight, and only with kids aged 4-8 (anything younger would be too much work, anything elder may not listen because you're not a "grown up")
Hope this helps?
