Activities for a 7-year-old beside a broken leg.?

My 7-year-old son just broke his leg and is in a cast (and on crutches). All our summer endeavours will have to be canceled as a result.

Other than the usual television, video games, books, and games, does anyone have any inimitable ideas of what we can do to occupy him?
I dunno, find him outside every once in awhile though. zoo, sports event.. etc.
crafts
revise to knit
board games
light bright
painting
sit him in a stool outside and throw a ball back and forth
play piano/musical instruments
drawing
get a book almost paper folding crafts and he can learn that
rent or get a lend of a wheelchair and play wheelchair picnic basket ball
Answers:    My little cousin is six, and he has broken his leg twice, he was also within this type of predicament. We kept him as active as we could by taking him to a park and helping him onto a slide and pushing him on the swing and small things like that. Try to do all the conventional things you did before the injury...just a little differently.
unless the orthopedist specifically said your child couldn't participate in an hum, let him do what he wants. continue to treat his dull pain & call the specialist with other medical questions.
well, you could try getting printable activity page from nick jr or noggin. or let him play on the computer sometimes. make him grain important.
WHAT EVER YOU DO. DO NOT GIVE HIM BINOCULARS AND SIT HIM NEXT TO A WINDOW
