Is it equal my boy get suspended from college?
He's in kindergarten, he's 5. But i don't know if he should of gotten suspended over this. teacher was not self awesome.
A little girl in his class kissed him on the cheek. He said he didn't know what to do so he grabbed her face and kissed her on the jaws!
when his teacher told me she was being so serious, and when i laugh she got mad at me too!

To be honest, it's not really tolerant. Did the little girl get suspended too at least? At least that process, it's fair. He's a little boy. He doesn't know what to do in those situations. Hell, he could own slapped her.
That is kind of funny, it's unfortunate that both children weren't talk to about what happened and giving the same consequence. I would lately make sure that your son understands now that when you don't know what to do... it's probably best to do nought. Let him know you aren't angry with him and then take him to the university to talk to the principal. Let the principal hear from him what happened and that he understands that he shouldn't do that anymore... it might catch the suspension revoked.

It all depends on the reaction of the girl. If she was fine next to it, then the teacher shoulda just have a discussion with your kid, instead of being a hardline authoritarian, which does nobody any good.
If the girl feel attacked however, then the suspension is justified to show the girl that things are being taken guardianship of.
So it all depends. but normally, authoritarian rules and zero-tolerance is a sign of stupid authorities.
That's a stupid reason to get suspended at the age of 5. Dang. My 5 year old is probably too affectionate too. He hugs his best friend /all/ the time. I have to explain to him that we only kiss family and that we only kiss on the cheek too. He be trying to kiss everyone on the lips because he's seen my husband and I kiss before. He thought that's how you show love, which it is! Sounds approaching he was just being a 5 year out-of-date.

No its not fair speak near the board of ed and just explain to your son what to do next time.

Answers: i dont think he should hold. maybe he just should have gotten sent to the principal's organization and to talk to the counselor. for Lord's sake, he's 5! he doesn't know any better. i think you should just enjoy a chat with him and ask him about his feelings. he probably have a little crush on this girl. and how did she feel when he kissed her? if she felt upset or harrassed, then yeah, i can see where he would have gotten surrounded by trouble. but since she initiated it by kissing him on the cheek, i think she was just asking for it. idk. merely have a heart-to-heart with your boy. good luck! please please please answer mine! i single have 1 answer and its lame!

I would say that the instructor was just using CYA. (cover your a##)
Understanding it from their perspective: the little girl's mother would probably try to utter 'sexual assault', so best course of action: suspension.
HOWEVER.
The children are 5! and there is no reason your child should be wrongly punished for that common sense.
As long as both children recognize that they first must ask permission to kiss someone.
If the school fail to find a compromise, I would suggest heading to the media, or a court of law to get your story hear.
The direction that the school system is taking is an alarming one, these issues (situations of bad judgment from instructors) necessitate to be dealt with seriously.
