What's the best birthday entertainment theme/idea for a 10 year old-fashioned girl?

Answers: You could do a spa night, and have a couple of her friends over to do manicures and pedicures while watching a movie of their choice.
You could do a theme that have to do with the girls favorite movie. I'm sure at your local party store you could find decorations, cups, utensils, etc. that go along next to the movie. High School Musical is in, is she interested in that?
You could take them to see a movie, or own some friends over for a movie night instead- that may be the cheaper way to go.
Bowling? I hold many younger cousins that have bowling parties.
You could cart them to a local beach, like in a park or on a mere. Grab a little ceasers pizza, make home made cup-cakes or a cake yourself, and go for somewhat swim. You could bring different things to do, like a volleyball or swim toys.
You could go and buy white T-shirts and tie-die them for a hippie-type theme, or you could throw that within if the girl likes art.
