Do you enjoy any recommendation on what a honest play kitchen is for an elder child?
I have a 7-year-old daughter who has never had a play kitchen. She still loves to play house. We are finally surrounded by a position to buy something for her. Do you think this is too old of an age to buy something? Do you have any recommendation for her? Thank you!
At her age, let her use the real article. Teach her some simple cooking skills, under adult supervision.
All the best.
No I don't think specifically too old. Kids need more imaginative play. For a obedient wood one I would try KidKraft. They have a great reputation. They have some larger ones that would be perfect for an elder child. My pick would probably be either their Deluxe Pastel or their Let's Cook toy kitchen. Source(s): Deluxe Pastel

She has the deluxe kitchen. She's 9 now. She and her friends still play next to it. Probably in a couple of months she'll be "too old" to play with it. But for now she loves it.
It last forever. We've had it 5 years. Still looks new.
A piece of advice.Don't verbs about if she is too old for it. Let the child decide. Let her be a kid as long as she like. She'll be "too old" before you know it in this society. Source(s): http://www.step2.com/category.cfm?subcategory_id=1026
