Activites and Games for 10 year older boy?

I have to babysit my 10 year old brother for a few days a week this summer. My mom wants him to spend smaller amount time on video games and more time doing other fun things (totally understandable). The only real act ivies he does is biking, or when a friends of his comes over. He also is pretty abstracted and easily distracted. Any suggestions for some fun games and/or activities that would get his attention? Perhaps some lessons could be involved as well?

Answers:    Read a book, play cards, make up a british articulation, try and keep your faces stern while staring at respectively other (funner then it sounds)
