At what age can I give notice my 9 and 10 year matured home for 15 minutes?
My youngest starts school this year. His school starts an hour before my elder 2. The school is less than a half mile away and I would not set out them home alone until the youngest was comfortable enough to be dropped of quickly.
They both know how to name me, 911, and know our neighbors. I have other children I watch and would have to help yourself to them with me and wouldn't have room in the motor for my older 2. Taking them to a daycare every morning would take more time than I would be gone. Not to mention cost me 20 dollars a day because I would hold to drop them off before my daycare kids come and leave them in that until they would go to school. About 2.5 hours they could be at home doing homework and getting ready for college.
All the budget cuts with the school system have completely made my diary crazy and I am not sure what to do. We live in a small town. I know they are mature enough to manipulate it, because they walk to the bus which is about a total of 20 minutes unsupervised. It wouldn't be every day and they would never own to cook. I just see all these sites that say never until that time the age of 11.
Based on what you're saying i deduce they're ok on they're own. i used to walk about a mile to school next to my sister not and nothing ever happened.
well a good age is roughly 11 or 12ish however if its just 15 mins i dont think it should be a problem enless one of them needs special thought or looking after.from what you say about them walking to the bus on their own i think that they are fully developed enough to watch themselfs for 15 mins.

yes its.. ok but when you like me your always moved out alone at home it dosen't matter to mom when she gets home and how long last time she not here me for 2 days and i was only 6 years old but in a minute my mom is always alert cause i'm nine and "im growing" whatever that vehicle well its fine cause there nine and up the oldest should scrutinize out for all of them and lock the door so nothing happens and if you pray previously you go God will watch over them i do I love God. Really there isn't a ruling on the age. It is up to you when you think they are responsible enough to be home alone. When I was 7 and my sister be 9 we use to stay at home for about an hour every day after school by our self's. My mom told me once that my uncle told her that he be going to call the cops on her because she was leaving us alone similar to that. So my mom went to a lady that she works with and asked her to ask her husband just about it. The ladies husband was a police officer. He told my mom that as long as she felt that my sister was responsible plenty to care for both of us it was fine. So really it depends on your child maturity stratum. My sister has always been unbelievably mature for her age.
