My daughter is almost 11 but she keep getting nits every few weeks?

non of her friends have nits this often PLEASE HELP!
She must be getting too close to someone else next to them. Check your whole family and change her bedding, unknown pillows maybe. Nits only live in verbs hair. Get a different treatment for her.
Fill a wet spray bottle and add tea tree oil. Make her use this every day when she brushes her spine. Nits hate the stuff. You can also add tea tree oil to her conditioner.

Also, if her spine is long, it may be worth considering cutting it shorter, or make sure she plaits it/ties it back.

I agree near the chemical thing - don't bother with them. If you keep using chemicals, the nits become immune to them anyway, so it doesn't work.

When you check her mane, just put conditioner in her hair beforehand and move off for a few minutes. The conditioner stuns the lice and it is easier to use the nit comb to get everything out.

Just out of interest, are you finding the actual lice in her hair, or solely the eggs? Source(s): Niece and nephew who had constant problems and we seem to have combatted it!!
i would describe the school where she is at as obviously someone from conservatory has them and going back and forth , also when you treat her make sure adjectives family has done so aswell
your daughter wants to learn to condition her hair and use a nit comb everytime she washes her mane until she has got rid of all the nits, lice and eggs. It can thieve a while, but its the only way. I had indistinguishable problem with my kids but eventually they will be gone if she maintains the nit comb conditioner treatment.

Might be worth just using a nit murderer just once, but to be honest if she keeps getting them then no point within using chemicals.
EDIT: whom ever is putting the thumbs down you must know the answer so why not either answer the question or not ask it at all depending on who you are
shave her head.buy wig.
You need to sterilize EVERYTHING. from her bed sheets to stuffed animals...roughly everything in her room. She probably gets it more often because they aren't truly gone.
It sounds close to the problem was never really cured completely, you may of killed the nits but you need to hang on to treatment for a few weeks later because the larva will stay and hatch again later and you won't notice them for a while after they hold reproduced a few million times. Cut her hair shoulder length so it is easier to manage if you haven't done so already. And have her sleep within a nat cap or bathing cap
(they have them at the dollar store so you can toss them out) so no larva or anything is on her pillows and comes put a bet on after treatment and wash them in hot water regularly, and toss out adjectives brushes and combs she has used, don't even boil them because if it keep on coming back.
make sure everything is clean and receive sure that she is not sharing hats and other items with the kids at school.
If u with the sole purpose treated her and not the house, she will repeatedly keep getting them. All pillwcases, sheets towels need to be washed contained by super hot water. Furniture and carpets sprayed with special lice bloodbath spray. Use a hair dryer to dry her hair, and she may be getting them at the local pool. Clean all fuzz brushes etc in hot sudsy water.
Take her to the doctor. Since the treatment's aren't working.
Answers:    If she is getting them every week than you may not have completely gotten rid of the eggs. The go cycle of lice is 30 days. So if you don't get all the eggs, than in 30 days they will be stern.

Most shampoos do not work 100% and can leave some eggs behind. I worked at a daycare and everyone in the building get lice. I washed with shampoo twice and they still came final. On the third time I brushed them out using their natural cycle and never got them again.

This website http://www.microscopy-uk.org.uk/index.ht… gave a calendar of brushing with the nit comb, and a lot of useful info.
