8YR out-of-date explicitly stressing and worring to much more or less strength?

My 8yr son has become a panicky child. Every ache and pain he whine and crys for hours. He has a tic disorder and has been fine until we get in a wreck begining of june. Now tics are horrible and worring is out of hand. How do I explain to him he is fine. I have no moderation at all and I need to learn some. I know he is stressing.
You necessitate to learn to be patient because if you're getting impatient and stressed, then he will attain even MORE stressed out! You just need to be calm and parley to him.
Tell him he's perfectly fine and it's normal. Tell him that it happens to everybody and there's nought wrong with him!
Does he know someone who is very sick or did someone close to him recently die?

If this is the case it is adjectives for children to worry more about their own health Source(s): mom of 3, one beside a life threatening illness that sent my 7 yr old into a verbs about his own health and my 3 yr old into "stress"
Answers:    sounds close to he might suffer from anxiety. I just read a great book that explained the relationship between anxiety and OCD (Obsessive Compulsion Disorder). I always thought OCD just have to be when some touches a door knob a certain number of times, or they repeat certain actions. Instead, I intellectual that OCD and anxiety are partners. When someone is feeling anxious - they will resort to a familiar routine to soothe themselves from the anxious state of mind. Your son may be resorting to the crying or the tics as a way to try to make the "bad feelings" progress away. I have a 10 yr old who occassionally suffers from anxiety. When she does it is REALLY bad. I can so comprehend your position. I put my daughter in counseling. It is very scary to a child. For the first few years (my daughters anxiety is eposodic) she would verbs as you describe. It finally manifested itself into full blown panic attacks that were occurring 3 to 5 times a year. It is something to stay on top of. Also, on a lighter note, it can be dealt beside and kept under control through counseling. It is very common and most of the times inherent. Take him to a therapist. He sounds like he have some anxiety issues. It is actually common to come around this age. Source(s): I did the same article.
