How much should a tooth elf bring for 1st tooth?
This is for a a boy who is almost 7 (first tooth on the loose). What have you given your children?
2 pounds because its the first times, go down to their last tooth being 50p :)
In american though i would say 5 dollars and go down to 1 dollar for the last tooth they loose :)
I would pick an amount for the first tooth down to the last, Why?
Because they do expect the same amount next to all of them.
I would just give a dollar, at 7 they are still thrilled to catch a dollar.
My husband made the mistake on one of my sons who lost his first tooth, He didn't have dollar bills on him, only $10's and $20's. he put a 10 and our son expected a $10 every time.
Seriously, I would say a dollar at every tooth that comes out, its easier.
One million dollars ! lol jk When I was a kid my parents gave me a couple dollars per tooth. = )
I other give my daughter $3.00 except for her"special tooth". As kids we always had a "special tooth", I forget which one presently lol. My daughter's was a gold tooth that she had to seize. When she lost that one, she got $5 and a toy. Just kind of a tradition we have going.
We gave my son 5 dollars, but that won't be for every tooth, it be just a first time thing, to get him excited for the rest of his teeth to come out...he is 6
wow after reading adjectives of the amounts, i am even more grateful of my single mother.
i never received $1.
i always received at least 3 dollars minimum.
i guess its safe to utter i got it good.
i give my 5yr old 10 dollars and explained to her that it was her first tooth and it was special. so the tooth elf leaves a lot for the first tooth . good thing i explained it to her, because she required to knock off the one next to it that was also loose.
I other got $1,that's it.Losing a tooth isn't a huge thing.Well, maybe for the first time but it should still be one dollar.
$1
You don't want to give him to much. That will lead him on thinking that he will win that much every time he loses a tooth. Around 2.00$ , or 3.50 $.
I got 1 dollar and a stamp for my first. The rest I get 50 cents.
1-2 dollars
$1, he's 7 how much do you consider he needs?
I think that I was given $2 for each tooth, but sometimes $1. At age six, that will give the impression of being like a lot of money.
Try to do something special. Find a silver dollar or a 2 dollar bill. Or you could Fold a dollar into something uncluttered like a ring or fan. It is not really the amount but the way you do it. Good Luck!
It's a recession. $1
