My ten year elderly son have be crying on and sour adjectives time, not sure what to do??
i have tried talking to him i have tried cuddling him i own tried laying him down in front of his favorite movie nothing seem to work, He wont let me take his Temperature and he just cant give the impression of being to be calmed, i am not sure what to do. His seven year old brother is getting upset as well because his brother is upset. My ten year old be molested bye my husbands brother and he has been really quite lately but very soon this. Both of my son's are seeing a counselor, any suggestions or Advice?
Answers: Talk to him him calmly and say, "Mom doesn't know what to think, something is evidently wrong here. Are you sick, sad, angry depressed, or just feeling blehh today? I mom requests to know so can you please tell me?"
One of three things needs to happen.
1.) you sit within a chair with the child in a bench facing you, and you talk about what's bothering him. It is likely that it have to do with the molestation.
2.) Call his therapist and report the behavior you have described above. Perhaps he know what this is all about.
3.) Contact the child's pediatrician and describe the symptoms as above, and ask him for advise.
What you should not do is will this child alone until this situation is resolved.
