7 year feeble have strong aversion to anything snug-fitting, including underwear?
My seven year old refuses to wear anything but loose dresses. She is extremely uncomfortable within underwear, pants, shorts, and, now, skirts. The only bathing suit she will wear is route too big for her (as are her dresses). She seems to absolutely dread wearing anything that is snug or well-fitting. I'm worried that this may be a sign of something more serious. I disgust to force her to wear anything snug because she really seems to exhibit discomfort - she isn't just a screaming brat who just desires to wear dresses. Any advice?
CNW seem to have a good thought on this one .. I would say a moment ago let her wear the things that she is comfortable in and see how things go. At your subsequent visit with the pediatrician bring it up.
Yeah, buy loose fitting underwear. Its not entirely unheard of for girls to wear boxers now days. This could also just be a phase.
I do believe, however, that the symptoms you are describing might be of autism, I'm by no method an expert, but I thought I'd save you the trouble of googling it and just post a link here.

Granted, Autism is a wide spectrum disease, so of course you'll want to hope help if the above describes your daughter, It could also be a phase.
Answers: Im sorry but at 7 she should be wearing underwear, pants, shorts, and buy her a bathing suit that fits, as dresses.
I think at 7 she should enjoy to wear her underwear AT LEAST. Underwear is needed or she will be laughed at to death by kids if she is caught going comando. Lay down the law, no situation how uncomfortable.
My 8 y.o. cousin is alike way (except, she just won't wear a shirt and normal bathing suit. She insists on wearing boy swimsuts). Everything my cousin owns is WAY too big for her. My dad think she had ADHD, but I don't think that's the case for your daughter. Maybe she should see a doctor.
I know a little girl with the same issue- it be OCD related. See the doctor to rule out physical problems and maybe talk give or take a few psychological issues. Good luck and support her on this- she needs you now.
Most 7-year-olds don't like wearing clothes.
If you're really worried, ask your pediatrician.
You need to talk to her pediatrician. She could own sensory integration disorder. children who exhibit this hate certain feelings. my friends' son will not wear lots of things. he hate sock and shoes in general. when he was 2, he still have trouble talking and was freaking out about the path the inside of his sweater felt, and ended up (out of frustration) banging his manager on the concrete. Now he is older, and they have therapy for him. But it could be several things. She could lately have sensative skin too, though that seems a bit extreme, but talk to her DOC!
