I Need Ideas of what to do because i am babysitting a 4 year matured boy and a six year older girl.?
I babysit a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl. They get bored slickly. I'v done lots of crafts, gone to the park, did scavenger hunts, played what they wanted to play, but i need more ideas of what to do, that will preserve them busy the whole day! please help ! :))))))
make playdoh!
Basic ingredient ratios:
2 cups flour
2 cups warm hose
1 cup salt
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon cream of tartar (optional for better elasticity)
food coloring (liquid, powder, or unflavored drink mix)
Mix all of the ingredients together, and stir over low heat. The dough will begin to thicken until it resembles mash potatoes.
When the dough pulls away from the sides and clumps in the center, as shown below, remove the pan from heat and allow the dough to cool ample to handle.
IMPORTANT NOTE: if your playdough is still sticky, you simply need to cook it longer! Keep stirring and cooking until the dough is dry and feels resembling playdough.
I've gotten many comments asking about sticky dough, so please just save cooking a bit longer and it will work!
Turn the dough out onto a clean counter or silicone mat, and knead vigorously until it becomes silky-smooth. Divide the dough into ball for coloring. Work the dye through, adding more as necessary to achieve your chosen color
Maybe you could hold a movie marathon and watch 2 or 3 movies. Do you have any younger siblings or cousins or anybody who you could borrow a couple of their toys? Little kids come across to love any toy that they don't have so it would entertain them for a while to play with a toy that you brought to play beside that day. If you don't know anyone their ages with toys they might like to play next to for a day, maybe you could go to one of those adjectives for a dollar stores and pick up a few cheap toys that you could bring on babysitting trips. Things like Playdough which they can play with for hours and hours at a time. Maybe you could do a puppet show or a play with them and you could own them make their own puppets or props out of everyday items that they already have like out-of-date socks for the puppets or something. You could try baking things like cookies or brownies and if they live on a pretty busy road maybe you could have a cook sale or a lemonade stand selling a cup for like 25 cents or something. Then you could let them hold some of the money and I'm sure they would enjoy that. Have fun! Source(s): I have a zillion cousins and I have tons nieces and nephews from my older brothers and all of them are very entergetic and don't sit down for long but they love doing these things which are particularly time consuming.
Puppets?
find some fun toys. or see disney movies! you can never go wrong with that. or bake some cookies or something
Answers: cart them to the zoo, at a pool, in my town the recreation department has games for adjectives ages set up at every park takle them there, at the boys club if there's one close by. if you live in the city that is abundantly more to do like the library will have story hour and olso a lot more information on fun stuff to do.
Have the 4 year ancient boy put on some of his sisters old dresses and have a little rage show! LOL
capably usually at thier age they like fun stuff like silly faces and fun food create face with their food and let them help you cook
try:
ask parents what they do at home
sock puppets
movies / tv
bake
hide and seek
computer games
