5 yr outmoded son keep have really bleak snout bleeds?
my 5 year old son has been have really bad nose bleeds at night. It started something like 2 months ago the first time we noticed it was one morning when I went to get up him up his bed and his entire face and neck were covered contained by dried blood. There was so much blood it looked like someone had bludgeoned him while he be sleeping. It was very scary. After that he have had it happen again about 5 or 6 times beside in the last 2 months. It's always at darkness and most of the time it will wake him up and he'll come into my room and tell me. The worst part is that nearby is just so much blood the droplets on the floor are about as big as a quarter or bigger and his face, chest, arms and his bed are so covered surrounded by blood it really scares me.
To get it to stop I give him some cotton contained by his nose or a towel to hold under it and have him hold his herald back until it stops which usually does happen within in the order of 5 minutes. But when we remove the cotton there is always a long blood clot that comes out and his nose will start bleeding a moment ago as bad all over again.
What causes such discouraging nose bleeds in a young kid while he's sleeping. We do live within southern Texas so the air is dry. Maybe that could be part of it. Is there any agency to prevent them. Or could this be a medical problem and should I take him to the doctor over it?
It coud be abundant reason out there but usually it caused by cold dry nouns but the bleeding is not that bad or it could be head/brain injury and many. U shud take him to doctor at the first place.. *sigh
does he pick his nose at night?

my 13 yr old have random bloody noses that are really bad they end for like 10 or more minuted and i got a vaporizer and turned it on in her room and it really seem to help.
he probably has trunk bleeds from having a vein too close to the inside of the nose so that it if truth be told is the lining of the nose. This is very adjectives and really nothing to worry about as long as you get hold of it taken care of. go to you Ear, nose and throat Dr and relate him this. See if it's possible to go in the early am when the bloody trunk has happened at night and you embezzle him in to the Dr without touching the inside of the nose so the ENT specialists will know how to find the leak. He then will place a little numbing solution on the nouns with a q tip device and wait for a few moments then use another q tip device beside an agent on it that will scar the vein in the proboscis wall and make the vein wall thicker that will stop most of the bleeding.
not to scare you or anything, but nosebleeds could be a sign of leukemia. i would mention it to his doctor and see if he should acquire a blood test. how are his energy levels?

The fact you told us about the dry Texan nouns helps a bit. Try putting a humidifier in his room. When the blood vessels contained by the nose get too dry, they can burst without notification. The humidifier can make the air moist in his room.
Now, if he does enjoy a nosebleed in the middle of the night, try putting a towel over the area to prevent further bleeding on the sheets. Also, try putting rime on the nostril where it's bleeding. This can freeze the blood and stop the bleeding. Make sure that when the bleeding stops he does continue wiping his trunk. This can cause the bleeding to start again.
To make sure that there is no medical problem, whip him to the doctor. I've heard that usually nosebleeds mean a child is at risk for leukemia. That's what made my mom take my twin to the doctor. It's better to be sheltered than sorry.

get a humidifier, it will relief his nose not be so dry.
when he does get the nose bleeds do NOT own him lean his head back because then it go to his stomach no good will come of that but a sore throat and sore tummy. have him lean over a toilet and get and rime cube or 2 and pinch the bridge of his nose right between the eyes pinch it and put the ice on it.Just let it drip over the toilet save on costs of tissue too. just have him lean forward, pinch and put the ice on it. it should stop in ten minutes. that's what helps with mine. if it doesn't help you might want to see a doctor because my sister have to get her cauterized because of her nose bleeds.
but make sure whenever it happen lean forward not back..

My mom was worried he would bleed to release, I remember she took him to the emergency the room the first time. They said you can lose quite a lot of blood without a problem and it will regenerate quick in a kid. It happened for a year or two and then he outgrew it. The strange thing about those nosebleeds, besides the huge amounts of blood and the long clots, was that nought ever happened to set them off, he wasn't hit or jumping around or swimming. It basically happened at random. We grew up in Ohio so I don't believe the weather has anything to do with it.
Also, the doctors told Mom not to lean his head subsidise. He would gag on the blood if she did that anyway. She would stand him on a chair over the kitchen sink and he would lean his head forwards and let it adjectives come out.
I live in WV and my daughter had the same problem when she be around his age.
