Do you achieve hindmost pause of institution year supplies?

my husband and i are military. i was gone around my sons last days of school. i get back not long ago and noticed that none of his supplies were returned. im not sure if this is middle-of-the-road cause this was my first child in academy (pre-k). well, my son is in pre-k again and my daughter is going to pre-k this year as well. i know for a reality that he didn't use up all his supplies from last year. i supplied hand sanitizers, tissues, finger paints (from which he just ever brought anything home that was painted) and lots of other stuff. i made sure to mark his name on everything. is it common that they don't return them? would it be rude to ask for them back so he can use them again this year, since i did pay for them?
Thats what happens. We're all done with order school now, THANK GOODNESS! They make you bring 50 pencils and consent to your child have 10. You also have to bring hand sanitizer and tissue, that again, your child NEVER uses them. Finally we lately stopped sending them.
It is rude. Supplies for the class NEVER end up lately for your child. Like when he would bring a toy to class, even with his name on it, others would still use it! Tissues aren't just used for your child, it's for everyone. Same near wipes, hand sanitizer, glue, and crayons. Those finger paints after one year are probably discusting, mixed, and probably any gone, or thrown away. Kids go through a lot of stuff during the year, so you get unsullied supplies every year.
Good luck xD
My class shares adjectives supplies except folders and notebooks, which are labeled with the kids' names. Everything else is shared. You may not see your child use everything, but everything is used. For example, every child is asked to bring surrounded by 20 pencils. I throw out old pencils and replace them with new ones regularly to cut down on germs so we do go through all of them. There are ALWAYS some families who don't or can't bring contained by all the supplies on the list, so sharing is needed, and when there are supplies not here over, I do save them for the next year because I never know what my students will or will not bring and I do spend so much of my own money. I have occasionally given the students put a bet on some supplies as end of the year treats though. Please do not ask for the supplies back. Trust me, they will go to apposite use, Source(s): I am a teacher.
That's really rude... not to mention probably illicit sounding. (okay maybe not illegal, but your son's teacher could probably bring in trouble with the school board.)

Call that professor up and demand your supplies, and an apology. She can't take what is yours and paid by you.

wow, that's pretty annoying. apt luck anyways!
They dont give back college supplies, and i realized my child got like 2 pencils out of the 36 he have to bring in so i stopped giving the school them

Usually when u hav supplies like crayons, colored pencils, sharpeners, and notebook your child keeps them in his desk and then can bring them home.

As for tissues, appendage sanitizers, and soaps and other cleaners, they use all of those to wash tables, hand before lunch, and to clean up.

So everything is normal, but when u no its lately gonna be a class supply that ur child gets none of, then dont buy it.

Hope i helped, Justin
no u dont get them back and yes it would be rude to ask for them back
Those sound like class supplies instead of student supplies.

Often, teachers will pool supplies together and distribute to the entire class. In these monetary times this is both necessary and logical.

Just suck it up, send more supplies, and be thankful you can provide for your kids.
it depends...my elder 2 kids do tend to bring home supplies at the end of the year. I think they send home what is contained by the kids supply boxes, then divide up what is left. I generally catch a few pencils, scissors, markers, the ruler, maybe some used crayons, bottles of glue and gluesticks. I suppose this started in 1st grade.

What I do to keep it from human being so expensive is to watch the ads. I just bought a pod full of things at walgreens for like $6: packs of highlighters and pens ( 4 each), tabloid folders, like 4-6 packs of erasers. I bought 6 boxes of 24 crayons for 15 cents each at walmart, same for 2 pack of small glue sticks and bottles of glue. I bought my older kids thier marker and colored pencils for $1 per box. Most classrooms I know of craft school supplies sort of a community bulk thing once they get surrounded by the classroom (particularly elementary school). It's rare for teachers to send kids home beside school supplies at the end of the year. Stuff like foot sanitizers and tissues would have been used or are put in the teacher's stock for subsequent school year, things like finger paints don't last awfully long and were probably trashed by now. It's not that expensive to get current supplies for a new year, just suck it up and spend the ten bucks it'll cost for new set of supplies. Like I said, I've never hear of a teacher sending home supplies at the end of the year, they do get used up, whether you see the evidence or not. Most, if all teachers have to supplement their supplies out of their own pockets during the year.
My kids did not bring stern home their left over supplies until 1st grade. Preschool and kindergarten are community supplies normally. So the class uses everyones as needed. They are not stalk piling them, next to kids that age a lot of it gets where it should not be, paint on clothes, table etc. and crayons get broken. I have worked in a kindergarten classroom and typically the trainer still has to bring supplies through out the year even with what parents bring.

Edit: LOL I mean stock piling them not stalk
Answers:    Just relax. The school may hold kept it for people next year for new populace that come in the middle of the school year and unprepared.
