Things to do beside the kids surrounded by the summer time?
i need some ideas on what i can do with the kids i study.. i got a big inflatable slide thing for them and a park right behind my house and a public swimming pool close by.. what are some other planning that i can do with them.. and on a rainy day what are some fun undertakings you can do inside besides arts and crafts,movies, puppet shows..
Answers: Scavenger hunts- it kept the kids (kinder-2nd grade) i babysat busy for hours! They also loved having easter egg hunts in the summer time! We dug out their baskets (we're lucky we found them, grocery bags would do) and plastic eggs, i hide them around their house while they waited in their rooms..then they found them! You can also trade name it harder by assigning each child a certain color(s) egg, or have a time contain, etc. it was endless entertainment ha ha
make gak- paste, borax powder and water i think? look it up online, but it doesn't stain, and is so fun to play with!

the board activity apples to apples jr. is very fun for school aged kids! it's funny and amusing, and it expands their vocabulary at the same time!
agree to them make their own snack each day. you can look online for adjectives kinds of snack ideas that are fun, so it's almost like a craft and a snack adjectives in one:)
give them a disposable camera, and let them pocket silly pictures (depending on number of kids and budget of course)
You could cook cake,cookies,pies with them. Let them help make lunch and snack.Play board or video games beside them.Take them out for icecream. Let them help you clean up its teaching them how to.
