How can I overcome pee shyness?
I've tried almost all of the techniques but none of them work. Sometimes i cant even pee in the stall. I own no trouble using the bathroom at home. Is there any other ways I can easily overcome it without have to see a psychologist or a group? Pls help!
lmao this is beneath the catigory "gradeschooler" hahahaha
You just have to break the dependence, you are uncomfortable around other people and that is pardonable.
The more you do it then the more you get used to it. It takes time, but you hold to over come the shyness by repeatedly using the bathroom in a stall.
Just think of the fact that plenty of nation do it, and it's nothing to be ashamed of.
Over the time of using the stall repeatedly, you will grow more accustom to the idea, and realize it's nothing to be ashamed of because explicitly what the bathroom is for and plenty people around you are doing the same thing. Source(s): - hope I help :-)
Just preserve trying: Use the most private of the available urinals, and *try* to get the job done. Close your eyes and focus on the sound of running marine.
Using public urinals when no one else around might be good practice too.
If you are afraid of the germs just take some disinfecting spray, or use the seat covers provided.
Try to deliberate of good things, or pretend that you are home when you go to a public restroom. Picture the things in your bathroom.
if you can find a toilet not a stall. " "

1. Pull down your pants.
2. Pull down your underwear. (If you're wearing any.)
3. Sit on toilet. (Or stand over urinal.)
4. Let the sweet, sweet achievement flow away.
You'll feel tons better, trust me.
just go you little *
same my peoblem, in my county i didn't used to pee without audible range sounds of water or something.. but here ooooooh gosh I feel like everyone is listen 2 what i'm doing... loool
just relax. maybe it would be better if you know that not a soul is in the bathroom. or go talk to your nurse at academy and see if you can use the nurse's bathroom. its cleaner and a lot better
ahaha yes just picture everyone else in tthe stall in their underwear lmao
dunno
Run water.
I actually developed this problem as well. I couldn't for the life of me, piss next to other people around.
Here's what you can do.
Drink a lot. Hold it in for a considerable amount of time (not too much if not you could damage your body or even die, but that's way extreme). Then go to a public restroom and dance right to the stall. You'll have to go so badly that you won't even guess about it.
That's what happened to me anyway. I really really had to turn to the bathroom but I was awaiting a drug test where I have to pee into a cup. By the time I finally got into the stall I didn't think about anything except peeing (and it's not as private as a urinal or a stall. In a drug tryout they actually watch you pee).
So yeah. All a psychologist will do is probably the same point. You only get over your fear by facing it, NOT avoiding it. By avoiding it you raise your spirits the behavior to avoid it even more.
So, like the first guy said...just do it really. And it's easier if you really really have to run. Good Luck! Source(s): Personal Experience
If you find out let me know, just don't transmit anyone I said that.
