HELP! please. adjectives babysitting accepted wisdom needed?

I have to babysit a super hyper 9 year old that is an merely child and is EXTREMELY spoiled. he loves the outdoors and video games.

I told him no video games this week and we already went on a hike.
I was thinking I don`t know a bored game but I don't think he has the restraint for that
I have to watch this little sucker for 5 hours and we already popped in two movies previously this week.
please help!!
try to play games with him, like simon say, or mother may i, red light green light. He may be a little elderly, but make it fun and offer a prize at the end. or I don`t know have him do an obstacle course, set things up that he can run around, or over, crawl under, own things that he has to do (throw the basket ball contained by the hoop). and then both of you can do it and see who goes the fastest, let him time you and you time him. if he doesnt live on a busy street you can ride bikes next to him. do regular things but make them into a competition, kids love that. See who can wash their hands the fastest, tie their shoes first, run from one finish off of the yard to the other. It will use up energy and he will be doing things that will take his mind rotten playing video games.
What I deduce is most important is to calm the kid down by doing crafts with him, not single is it bringing out creativity but they usually take a while to do. It will calm him down, if not I would try doing games inside, so he is smaller amount active, for instance do a board game. One more thing, you are the babysitter which channel you are in charge, don't give him a choice about everything, give an account him WE ARE going to play a board game. :)
Answers:    If the area that you're in is appropriate...be in motion for a nature walk (as compared to a hike). Break open rotting stumps, find bugs, look for spider web, cool looking leaves and rocks... whatever he goes for. (might want to do your research first). Bring a water bottle, some snacks, and don't forget the sunscreen.

Play outside... if he loves the outdoors I'm assuming he'd savour playing catch, basketball, soccer, etc.

If there's a playground nearby and that's something he enjoys you can step there.

If he, you, and his parents are comfortable you could take him to the pool.

Does he enjoy making and building things? Gather up mature paper towel tubes, toilet paper tubes, rulers, whatever you can find and create your own marble run (I've done this beside kids before - it was a blast)

You could also look into making models. There are both wooden and plastic kits available for making cars, planes, and so forth.

Don't be afraid to touch into whatever toys he has too.

Go with anything he is interested in... and as active as he is if you give him a sit down distraction he enjoys it could very well hold his interest.
sit down & color with him..play with his lil cars & toys, act entertain with his stuff like tell him to show u adjectives his room & all his cool toys.
