Should i tattle on her?
it depends on how old your sister is, but you should probably mention it. dont come out and say right now that shes smoking it though, it may be a friends that was forgotten.. or she may just have it for edge... (my cousin collects them and doesnt smoke), but you should let them know
Yes, you should, this is not tattling, this is telling your parents what happened, possibly to give support to stop her from damaging her health. But should you have be in her room to begin with? Remember to own that you may have been wrong in going within there and snooping.
Tell immediately. I like what Kris suggests above^
okay, i'm sorry, but none of the previous answers are based on fact.. weed is NOT unsafe to your health, and can actually lead to enlightenment
People collect em? OK then...
YES tell your parents! You are a very obedient sister for caring!
Weed is a problem that can lead down a destructive path, and is not something to whip lightly! If it was something like-I saw her sneaking in near her bf, or I saw her out past curfew, etc., I'd saw possibly, those are not overly serious things, but this is something you need to tell your parents. That is not tallleing, near such a serious issue. Also(unless you want her angry at you), ask your parents to tell her THEY found it. That way you have help your sister(by making it harder to smoke), and she doesnt know it was you. Also if she has had problems similar to this, it explains why her parents would be careful(going through her room). She still will be able to smoke, but hopefully mom and dad, will set a strict curfew, and watch her every move, to make sure she doesn't smoke again. Tell your parents to check out the Love And Logic book by Jim Fay on parenting teens. It may comfort show them SUCCESSFUL ways to stop this, and other issues.
Good Luck!!
