Do you enjoy any concept for doing beside a brownie troop?
I'm starting a brownie troop with 8 year olds. Does anybody have any ideas to do beside them to earn their try it badges and help them grow as leaders?
I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for, like stuff they can do for fun? Well how about making cookies, fixing their own pizza, doing crafts or crafts kit like scrapbooks, etc.

1. Collect 3 bugs that are around your house and find information about them.
2. Gather funds to shoe the homeless contained by the local area in a weeks time line.
3. Dog dry-clean and walking day at a local park. Learn about the types of dog you encounter with photos of the time and at the same time the community gets to know the troop.
4. For your kids day. The troop creates games and fun for the local church or library.
5. Lemon aid nouns. Troop marches down high end neighborhoods asking for support from locals and sell lemon aid to parade watchers.
Answers: We use to learn in the region of nature around our subdivision and at the parks.
We use to volunteer to help churches to collect and distribute food and clothes.
We discussed health issues, while have girl nites.
We visited nursing homes and gave simple crafts..we stopped buying avon because the patients thought it was food...
We practiced camp and making/ cleaning campsites in the troop leader's yard.
As we got elder we planned garage sales, small business-selling arts and crafts at fairs, doing carnivals at churches etc to sustain us take on leadership roles. Source(s): first black troop in our nouns and now retired troop 1422 reporting in!
