What's the earliest age I can gain a nose-job for my daughter? She is 7, and I cogitate she's old-fashioned plenty?

The poor little thing inherited her dad's nose, and it's really, really much too big for her facade. All of the kids in her class make fun of her, and while we do snicker about it at home, I can relate it really bothers her.

Not to mention, when we go out in public, it's kind of mortifying. I mean, I love her (she's my daughter! Of course I love her!), but I don't really like people thinking that I'm her mother.

I'm thinking more or less consulting with a plastic surgeon, but I wasn't sure how old she needs to be. I wouldn't even consider it, but she also requirements one. She also wants to have tummy tuck (she does love those M & M's), but I think she requests to be pre-teen at the earliest to even consider having it done.

Has anyone else went through with this? If so, does anyone hold a price range?
Hmm, I reckon so.

You ought to save money if you can gain her a boob job at the same time... get her some DD's. I'm sure she'll grow into them only the way I did when my mother bought me shorts she 'wanted to last' (eventually through all 7 years of subsidiary school!).
The earlier the better. You need to try to fix deformities similar to that early on. 5 years old would have be better, but 7 is still good. Get to a respectable plastic surgeon immediately! Spare your daughter embarrassment surrounded by her teenage years. You want her to meet a nice man and get knock up by the time she goes to collage, you and a huge nose like that will singular get her knocked up by goofy looking dudes.
your kid right?? how can you be embarassed of your own child
.WTF is wrong with you? you have a sick mind, no one should ever be feeling shame by their own child. Plus i inherited my dads nose and yes it is large and it be when i was younger too but i am growing into it and i look fine

plus personality is better than looks everyone knows that, at tiniest everyone with a normal mind understands that.god your sick...
Most likely a surgeon won't touch it for several years. They want to product sure she stops growing and all that.
However is she were to suffer a terrible quirk where she was to break her nose that may be another issue.
If you hold an additional child (like maybe 2 years old) give the little one a tack hammer and have him/her go wake up the elder sister.
What a great idea! A proboscis job and liposuction at 7 then next year bequeath her a "My first meth lab kit" for ages 5 and up!

Seriously, get a life or at least grow up. Looks close to you got what you were looking for...attention. Stuck at home tonight with zilch better to do I suppose? You should be embarrassed, but unfortunately pigs don't know pigs stink.
Let's hope you don't really own any children or really think like this.
Sick!
A doctor will wait at least until the girl is a year former the beginning of her meses. It is then that it is assumed that her bones are fully formed. Source(s): Had medical/cosmetic maxillofacial surgery at age 15.
You think wrong. She has to enjoy stopped growing.

I mean, you're an obvious troll, but somebody might be actually considering this sort of surgery for a child who in actuality exists.
Very nice... As an ex-chubby toddler myself I must recommend the "Do-it-yourself Home Liposuction and Rhynoplastic Kit" from Fat Baby (brick not included)
You can do it at any age...though you are talking $3K+ for the whole ordeal.

It sounds like you are doing the muzzle job for good reasons...there's a huge difference between insisting your child look close to a model and simply doing what you are doing; protecting her from being made fun of so she can work on creating a great life instead of deflecting bullies.

>"She also requests to have tummy tuck (she does love those M & M's)"
That I can't support. Learn how to saute vegetables, dip broccoli in reduced-fat cheese, and generally brand name healthy foods more attractive to her in general while drinking them yourself and volunteer to exercise with her. Good health habits can efficiently avoid any need for a tummy tuck.
You are sick.

Kids are kids, as they grow and mature their features change. Proper eating behaviour and physical activity will clear up anyones weight problems.
Answers:    It's easy enough to find around the age requirements if the surgery is deemed "medically necessary" as in to correct a break if she "accidentally" walked into a door, if you entrap my drift. My neighbor's cat only had one testicle so she had a prosthesis inserted into this little nutsack because she thought he be feeling self-conscious. I thought she was exaggerating the cat's feelings but ever since the surgery, he's knock up four more cats on the block!
totally agree next to the first guy how could you even think of such things! Shes only 7 and your putting her down because of her nose agree to her make her own decision! I feel sorry for her
You can forget it they are NOT going to do a nose career or a tummy tuck on a child. If you wanted a prettier child you should of married a more hansom man not one with a big nose. and you should of be taller so she would have a flatter tummy. LOL
You are a pain in a** find another board to troll on.
you call yourself a mother?
a 7 year old does not need a tummy tuck. shes 7. its call baby fat. that wont be gone for a little while. if she loves those M & M's don't agree to her eat that much. parents are the reason why their kids are fat, if you agree to them eat anything they want, they're going to eat crap all the time. a antenna job really? your a horrible influence. instead of "snickering" at your daughters nose you need to be the one to awaken her and boost her self esteem. if a 7 year old knows what a tummy tuck and a nose opening is, then your really doing a great job raising her.
Yahoo Answers is for REAL questions, not made up ones love.
Your pretty sick.
WTF!? you should be proud of your daughter no thing what she looks like and by the way, her nose is subdivision of her ancestry and should be left alone!
Do you have no life?
are you sure she have the problem or maybe it is you. What a great way to teach your child to hold low self-esteem.only if it is a medical issue should you try to change her look, you'll end up beside more problem than you can imagine now.since when do you ask a 7 year old such a a enthusiasm changing issue.she will end up blaming you.
My father is a Plastic Surgeon and no means of access would a reputable doctor be willing to operate on a child's nose unless there be something medically wrong. Insurance will not cover cosmetic surgery such as a nose job for a child. The reason is because she will eventually grow into the muzzle. (I know, I wanted my nose done when I was within high school because I looked like Mr. Magoo!) Once the child pass puberty the body tends to even itself out and if she were to get a muzzle job now she would have to hold it completely reconstructed at least twice before she reach her 20s, and again insurance won't cover it. The price range depends upon the doctor doing the surgery. I figure my dad would probably charge at least $3,000 and later for every subsequent surgery $2,500
Disgusting that you say you're feeling guilty of your own child. If my daughter had 6 legs 2 arms and a blue face i would never ever be embarrassed of her.
Well others hold already covered the nose problem.

as for her little gut you've got to get this procedure done previously she can develop a contempt for us normal looking people. If you get to it vigorously she'll never know she was at anytime *of the preterit*. This way, when she gets elder she'll be able to accept getting the procedure done again as many times as is required.

Now, as a mother you should be ashamed of yourself if you haven't qualified her how to eat responsibly yet! If you get her started on moral habits early then she can filch the ability to get rid of that unwanted food in a stillness, unnoticed way with her for the rest of her life.
The before the better, though! You've got to toughen up those esophageal walls early and learning to use laxatives within the right way can save hours of embarrassing self experimentation then in her life.

Get a barbie doll and affix it next to her toothbrush as a reminder whenever she reach for the it and has second thoughts. She will have second thoughts like that until she hits puberty and realize she isn't turning out the way she is supposed to so you've got to act in a minute to reinforce her behavior!
Get to it, Mom!
are u kiddin me...ur daughter is fine the way she is
I think most answerers here are very insensitive, Teccy!
You're conspicuously a caring mother who just doesn't want to be seen out and something like in the company of an unsightly child.
Seven is possibly a tad young for surgery. However a bag over your daughter's skipper until the age of nine should prevent you suffering further unnecessary discomfort.
Good luck!

PS: German Shepherd (girl?) --
Since your own most recent question concerns the illegal downloading of music, I really feel it ill-befits YOU of adjectives people to be screaming "REPORTED" like a demented banshee at others.
Steady now!
