Babysitting tips(20characters)?
Alright so today will be my first time babysitting and I need some tips. Any tips will be appreciated. I'll be babysitting a 8 and 10 yr old boy and I don't know what to do when I go up at hand.
If they have video games your set. They will probably be glued to them.
ok, so usually that age group can be hard to handle variety sure u r a happy medium between strict and kind, set the ground rules past you get started playing, play with the kids, make sure you review rather bit of cpr, hemiclich menuver, first aid, etc. before u go, carry a rucksack of emergency equipment u might need (hey, u never know what is going to happen), NEVER allow the kids to answer the door to anyone even if they know them and do NOT even answer the door yourself, ask the parents questions about the kids back they leave, when the parents come home leave them a note beside what you did with the kids, limit phone, computer, video games, and tv access, if u follow these guidelines and the rules, u should have closely of fun! 10 and 8 year olds are practically on duplicate level. When u get there confer to the parents, ask the kids for a "grand" tour of the house, ask them what they like to do, get the parents cell numbers and make sure u ask if they have need of to take a bath do homework eat or doesn`t matter what.
When they leave, set ground rules, go over safety issues like- consent to me open the door, don't go into the street, I will answer the phone and whatever else. Next build sure u go over earthquake or tornado warnings if u live in that type of state.
Play games next to the kids like- take them 2 the park, play a boardgame, feed them!! Haha. Always take them outside so they can run out their force. Also, play the clean up game- if u clean up really well I will offer you a treat (cookie, ice cream, popsicle, chips). Don't let them watch tv
Most crucial go with the floww! You will have fun trust me.
