Kindergartener riding the bus?!?
My son is going to be starting kindergarten next month and will be riding the bus from the second week of school through the end of the academy year. Once he gets to school, how does he know where his class room is? Is at hand a teacher waiting for the kids? If so, how does that work, as kids will be coming from all over town and arriving on different buses.
I sure you child will be supervised after he's gets off the bus. if you have request for information on how that works it depends on the school so call the school and found out.
Maybe you can pick up\drop bad your child to school some days. Walk him the the bus stop and many other things to ensure that he has a suitable time in kindergarten.
Good luck!
Typically when kids arrive at school in the morning they don't turn directly to their classrooms. There will children outside playing, and some kids will go to the cafeteria to eat breakfast. There usually is a separate play area for kindergarten so they aren't playing with all the big kids. There will be teacher out on the playground to monitor the kids. There will also be teacher out in front of the school meeting the kids as they grasp off the buses, monitoring behavior, and ensuring anybody who needs assistance get it. When the bell rings, then the children go to their classrooms.
Once your son has studious the routine he will be perfectly capable of getting to his classroom. You said he won't start riding the bus until the second week of school. I assume you are taking him the first week. During the first week he will swot where his classroom is, who his teachers are, and the general routine. Teachers are other on hand to help students who need assistance.
When academy gets out in the afternoon, a teacher or aid will hike the bus kids out to catch their bus. They will ensure each child gets on the correct bus. Schools enjoy been doing this for a long time, they are pretty good at it. It is also good for your son to be responsible for getting himself where on earth he needs to be. Treat him like you expect him to be able to feel this, and he may just surprise you. Let him know you are worried about him doing this on his own and he will be more frightened and unsure.
yes in kindergarten there are teacher who come out and get the kids off the bus he just requests to ask a teacher where he needs to progress and they will help
Most schools will have an location before classes start and you can ask there. All schools are going to do it for a time bit different. You can take some opportunities to show him around the school too. Some school we have been to, attach tags to the kids backpack for what bus they ride and whose class they are in. Others write the bus # on their hands for the first week. They do usually pick it up pretty fast- it's the parents that worry more- trust me! Source(s): 15 and 7 yr. ancient
i had to ride the bus when i be in kindergarten too. at my school, there be something called a "bus buddy" which is were your kindergartner gets a 6th to 4th category buddy who sticks with them until they get into their class :) i hope this helps you!
when i was in kindergarten i go to wait for the bus and got on. i noticed adjectives the kids were a lot bigger then me and they even tease me a little. when the bus dropped us off at school i realize i didn't recongnize the school. i was at the wrong school. and i didn't know what be going on.
apparently there's another bus that comes at the same stop for an older school.
so i come up with it'll be okay. but wait with him at the bustop please. lol
did you not have academy buses when you were a child? Geez, the kid will be ok. The school will not have the bus driver drop them at the arts school and say good luck and slam the door evilly.
It's an Elementary school so most imagined the teachers or bus attendants will be there to collect kids and send them where on earth they need to go the first week or two of school. But after that, the kid will be responsible for knowing where on earth to go.
Yes the guru or the aide will be at the bus to help the children.
Answers: At our school, prior to the first afternoon of school, each child in Mrs. Smith's class receive a green frog tag with their name/teacher's name/bus number on it in the letters. (The kids in Mrs. Jones class received a brown bear tag, etc etc) They are to wear this frog psyche tag on the first few days of school so that once getting off the bus, Mrs. Smith will be waiting at the institution and will be looking for any child wearing a frog tag around their neck.
Do you have any friends/neighbors beside older children who you can ask about such procedures? Either that, or call the institution directly and ask them your questions. Source(s): mom of 2
the teacher would help them to class since they r so young at heart. dont worry ur child will b fine :)
