At what age does a child have need of to start wearing deodorant?
my daughter is 6 and i can't honestly remember when i started wearing it and my mom can't either and honestly if she stunk i would make her wear it now but she doesn't but she does sweat alot
Rofl.. Once she gets spike on her pits let her wear it =] That's when you start to smell.
I give my daughter some deoderant just this past month and she just turned 9. I did it because she reach up to hug me and I got a nasty whiff of her arm pit. I didnt realize they stunk that untimely!
I remember when I was a kid we started with deodorant in 5th category..
Really when they start to stink. lol
My oldest daughter is 13 and she started wearing it around age 10 and her period started at 11.

I started wearing it in like 3rd grade. How hoary would that be? 8 or 9 I guess. Get her in the habit at like 8 or 9 mete out she will get made fun of if shes 11 or 12 and she doesn't wear it yet. Source(s): I make fun of peep who don't wear deoderant.
Answers: I would consult beside your child's doctor to see what he or she might recommend as 6 is a very young age to start using deodorant on a child. It could be a medical problem that may need to be checked out by your doctor.
I started noticing that I needed to wear deodorant right around when I hit puberty.which be around 10 or 11, I think. Just be aware of it, and she will probably need it with contained by the next 2-4 years. Good luck!

Little kids do sweat - their bodies hold to cool down too - but it doesn't usually start to smell until puberty for whatever reason.

I don't know because Im not a female, but I can tell you its later surrounded by life than when us guys first start wearing it. Boys can start as early as 9-10 years old wearing deoderent. Girls probably 2-3 years subsequent. We discrete more BO and more stink.
