Do you focus he will be ok?

My 6 year old is riding the bus for the first time on Friday (he in Kindergarten), the bus comes literally in front of our house.. his institution is only about a 3 minute drive from my house but gas money & driving back & forth 2 times a afternoon is rough, (after picking him up 2 times a day for 3 years in pre-school) so I think he should conceivably the ride bus... however I'm nervous as hell, real nervous. I basically hope he is ok getting to school. The school says he will be fine & they know he will be riding the bus, but still, when they catch there in the morning, the kids have to travel to either the cafeteria to eat or the gym to wait for their mentor, I hope he knows where to go.

Do you muse he will be ok?
damn i didnt walk home from school til i be in 7th grade
I understand your fears, but yes, he will be OK! Source(s): My 3 boys did it!
Answers:    I can understand your fears, but I am sure he will be fine. The only problem I have ever have with my kids riding the bus is they were on the bus with elder students so they learned language and behavior that I wasn't quite in position for them to learn yet. As for finding his way around, when he get off the bus, the school will make sure he get to where he needs to be. And when getting on the bus at the end of the morning, they usually have teachers on post to make sure the kids capture on the bus they're supposed to get on.

But that's great that the bus comes right in front of your house. That'll make things easier too. Of course I'd still be outside waiting for him to go and get off the bus if it were me.

Try not to worry too much (I know that's easier said than done). He'll be okay! And if you play it up right, he'll contemplate he's such a big, trustworthy boy for getting to ride the bus and he'll love it!
