Answers:    Depends on what they do. What I usually do is take away privileges or something like that. My daughter have been putting legos in her mouth to get them apart and I've gotten sick of relating her that she's going to choke, so I've taken them away temporarily. Or if she leaves her TV on when she goes off to do something else, I'll tell her an hour of no TV when she comes posterior in from playing. But when little punishments don't "fit the crime," my husband and I do what's called DBC or MBC (Daddy and Mommy Boot Camp). Some parents hit their children (not out thing) we have her exercise - push ups, leg lift, bear crawls, etc. She hates it when she's doing it for a punishment, but she takes great pride within her muscles and abilities when she's not in trouble. And it's not failed once.
