For my child's birthday celebration, what craft philosophy would you enjoy?
The party will be held in a park in postponed August. I'm looking for CHEAP craft ideas. There will be approx. 6 girls and 1 boy. Any ideas?

I know how it is, on a budget my sons 9th b day be outside also I planned alot of games that were cheap.
1) we decorated two paper plates respectively and stapled them together they made wonderful personalized Frisbees.we lined up 2 at a time and who's frisbee went the shortest distance had to sit down and continued till one individual was standing. the winner- won a small dollar tree prize.
2) scavenger hunt- winner got a small dollar tree prize
3) tail tag- respectively kid had a pipe cleaner and attached to a back pocket and they chased each other stealing the tail the personage with the most tails won small dollar tree prize.
4) penny race- two groups you hold a penny between your knees and walk and drop within a bowl or bucket if you miss you sit winner gets prize.
It was alto of fun and no more after $10.00.
I know there not crafts although lots of fun and took at least 1 1/2 hrs to do all.

Answers: Beads and string for bracelet making. You could get adjectives sorts of beads and beads with junk mail so they can make name braceletes? Making a collage out of paints and leaves and stuff, Good luck :) xxxxxxxxxx
jewelry making. All you will need is some hemp rope and pony beads - It's fun and inexpensive and the kids will have a hang on to sake to remember the party.
