What should I charge to babysit?
I'm 16. I live in a small town. I've been babysitting for 4 years. I have adjectives sorts of certification because I work at a day camp for children and am significantly trained. Tonight I'll be babysitting 3 boys ages 6-10. What should I charge an hour?
depends be u live. charge a smal amount for each, add them, charge that.
personly u dont wanna over charge or seem close to ur doing them a favour.
so i wood charge 15-20 dollors.

I think 7-8 dollars an hour would be gala no matter where you live. Being you are only 16 years frail you probably don't have to worry too much about glorious COL. Now an older more experienced person may charge 8 dollars an hour and 1-2 dollars extra for each other child. I've seen some people ask anywhere from 10-15 dollars an hour for 1 child and that's ridiculous, IMO. Source(s): I'm a former daycare provider, preschool teacher, and nanny. For three, I'd charge $6 to $7 an hour.

We kind of just round it to the easiest amount for however long we've be gone. If it's been a long evening, I throw in a little extra too. Some of my friends suggest this is too much to pay, but I think that's crazy. A parent is very lucky to find a great babysitter who their kids resembling, and who keeps the house picked up a little! :)
