Is it average to want kids inadequately after have have an abortion?
When I was 16 years old I had an abortion not because I required to but because my sister made me. It didn't hit me too much then but for the past 2 Years i've been going through greatly of emotional problems & dealing with severe depression and on top of that i've other had problems with my mother & I started to feel legitimate bad and guilty for doing what I did, and ive been dying to have a tot. I just cant open up 2 anyone about it because I grain like they'll think I'm crazy because I'm only 20. My boyfriend & I hold been together for a very long time & when we have sex he finishes contained by me all the time & I haven't gotten pregnant & everytime my period comes i break down & go through an thrilling stage that no one can imagine. I want to know if anyone can help me out. Is this conventional? What can I do. & I'm also worried because I never went back to get checked 2 weeks after my abortion & i quality like something might be wrong with me and everytime I see kids or pregnant women i feel legitimate bad because I have this thing that tell me that'll never be me.
nobody can force someone to have an abortion. if you have an abortion then that was your choice.
Look it may be best to wait and you should use protection. Settle your life first the chew over about it. You are young and you don't want to regret getting pregnant again and make equal mistake. Mainly, think long and hard and use a condom or pills until you know for sure.
I am not saying any of my past choices were "right" or the best, but they be for me at that time of my life in which I had an abortion. Two within three years, to be honest. It is a very painful thing to budge through and so I am sorry you are dealing with this. No one can force you to do it, but oh does it feel that way when its up. I could never chose to do it again.
I became pregnant one month after my last one and my daughter turned out healthy and 8.0 lbs at birth. No complications, preterm labor, ect. She in actual fact stayed in 5 extra days lol.
To be honest, it's very UNLIKELY to have long residence side effects or infertility if the procedure is done correctly. I did not go back for a check up after the second one, I took my birth control for the first month afterwards and got into a relationship which I never expected. I don't regret it any.
Anyways, the depression and stress are a more likely cause of why you haven't become pregnant. I was within a very controlling and stressful relationship where I wasn't allowed to use birth control and never fell pregnant. I conceived the first time my now-fiance and I were intimate.
What you involve to do is go to the gyno and get an exam. You probably should anyways since you are sexually active. From nearby, they can see any potential problem preventing pregnancy and get you on the right track as far as your depression. I wish you luck and I am sure everything will turn out okay. maybe you should try getting a puppy first
Answers: I am so sorry for all you are going through. There are women who go through post-abortion depression, almost like a post-traumatic stress disorder.
I want to recommend to you to check into a group call Project Rachel, the web site is http://www.hopeafterabortion.com/. This is a group that works with post-abortive women who are suffering. There is also the group "Silent No More" that has support groups for post-abortive women. Their website is http://www.silentnomoreawareness.org/res…
Even if you find some support through these groups, I contemplate that you need to consider some professional therapy to help you win through your grief and emotions. You are not going to be able to erase your pain through another pregnancy because another child will not replace the one you lost surrounded by the abortion.
For your own health, I think it is a good concept to go back and see your ob/gyn. Remember, that infertility can be caused on the manly or female side. It may be that your boyfriend is sterile or has low sperm count.
Good luck. I hope you are able to grow through these emotion and come out healthy and happy. No one deserves to feel such sorrow and guilt. Do you hold a church or pastor you could speak to? It seems to me like you need forgiveness. Of course, first you can turn straight to God and ask for His forgiveness. Then you need to let go of that guilt and grief and know that God loves you and that He will forgive you, no matter what! Source(s): http://www.silentnomoreawareness.org/res…

First of adjectives, your sister did not take over your body and force you to have an abortion.
You made the choice.
You signed the papers.

Before you can get yourself out of this depression, you need to come to terms near the fact that you made that choice, not her, stop blaming her, and face the fact that you cannot turn the clock hindmost and undo what you did.

You entail to talk to your boyfriend about your feelings.
Tell him roughly what he can do to help you.
And if he feels like you two are primed, have a child.
It might just be the right thing for you right very soon, you never know.
You do need to see a doctor and get checked out.
You need to agree on the damage that the abortion may or may not have done to your body as well as your likelihood of getting pregnant again.

Well maybe you should jump to the dr first and get completely checked out. If there is a problem you may need medical attention also, you want that piece of mind knowing one route or the other instead of just worrying. Also, unless you and your boyfriend have talked roughly having a child I dont think its a good notion to be trying to get pregnant...what if he's not ready?
