Can I start breast feed again?

I quit breast feeding when my son was 5 weeks old because I get very sick. My son is now 5 MONTHS old. is it possible to start again? My milk is gone.
yeah you can but he may not want it. besides they must stop being breastfed by 6mths
my daughter stopped on her own when she was 3 months... low, because i wanted to keep going.. but anyway, i still can squeeze milk out (she is now 6 months) so in recent times curious i put her to my breast to see if she'd latch. she opened she mouth and gave me a funny face. i never laugh so hard in my laugh. my boob be covered in droll but she never did latch or even close her mouth.

And your child doesn't need to stop breastfeeding until you decide its time to stop! Some children feed resourcefully into their early school years.
