Anyone out in attendance who have kids who look completely different from their siblings (hair and eye color)?
I know there's really no way to tell, but my sons are both blonde/blue. I have unlit hair and eyes, and my husband has dark pelt and blue eyes. Obviously I want a healthy baby, but what are my chances of have one who's dark hair and eyed like me? Anyone else hold kids (with the same man, obviously, lol) who look completely different from the other ones?
me and my half sister and half brother all enjoy different hair colors
one got dad's, one got mom's and one get her mom's. so hair could come from your or his parents or siblings as well.
My wife and I had 7 children together. Their hair color varies from murky blond to dark brown. Eye color varies with shades of brown and green. But the entry that we have always commented on is that they are each distinct within face appearance and body shape. (It's nice that they are each quite accurate looking, in spite of the fact that both parents are kind of plain :-) In some family all the kids share a close resemblance. But our kids each came out of a different mold, even though we are 100% sure they adjectives have the same mother and father. Genetics inherently includes a lot of variables. So while you may achieve children that closely follow their parents appearance, you may get something else. Some traits skip a generation, so grandparents have a semi-direct stance also.
You get to love what ever you get. I hope the day of genetic engineering never comes. The series we have given to us is better than if we could choose characteristics out of a sample book.
Answers: My husband and I have 4 children. Our first 2 and our youngest look exceedingly similar in many ways and favor my side of the family. They hold very straight brown hair, blue eyes, are tall and slender. However, our middle daughter looks nil at all like her siblings. She is actually a nearly spitting model of my husband's sister. She has blond, very curly hair, blue eyes. She is also soaring, but she is large boned and heavy set. So, yes, we have one child who looks extremely different than her siblings. We also know a family with 3 children. Mom is very do with beautiful light red coat, freckles, and green eyes. Dad is darker with black hair and brown eyes. Their elder 2 children look quite like mom with matching coloring of skin, hair, and eyes. They have a new little one who has black hair and is dark only just like dad. It is certainly possible for your new little one to look different than the older 2. Oddly enough, in frequent of the families we know, it is the 3rd born child who is considerably different than the older 2. With our middle daughter, she not only looks different than the other 3, but also is exceptionally different personality-wise.
My son is blonde near hazel eyes (hair color like his dad,eye color his gramma)
my daughter has brown hair and bright (ice blue) eyes(hair color mine, eye color her dad)
Both hold the same father and were born within 15 months of respectively other.
I got super shadows auburn hair and grey blue eyes, my brothers both have dark blonde to fluffy brown and blue eyes and my sister got blonde (like really really blonde) hair and green eyes. My mom has auburn pelt and green eyes and my dad has almost black hair and blue eyes but was blonde approaching my sister til he was almost 20 and then his hair darkened.
